First I believe that sports are on the up and up in so much as there is no grand scheme to plan a game or season out. You have incompetent refs, you have a crooked ref like Donaghy and perhaps a handful of players that have thrown games but those all boil down to money and not some "illuminati" type of interference.

For every coincidence in sports there are many, many more non-coincidences. For example, on 02/22, that one guy had all of the 22s. Why? What purpose would that serve? Why that player? Why nobody else? Where are all the instances of 23 from last night? Why is no one making a fortune in gematria bets?

Why do people seek reasons for these instances you ask? Because as agent Mulder so often said "they want to believe". It's human nature. Why do people believe in pedophile pizza conspiracies? 5G conspiracies? Gates is microchipping everyone? A handful of members in a cabal controlling the world?

It's just tough for me to believe that sports are at all on the up and up. I think they are scripted, they do connect to narratives outside of the world of sports, and they are manipulated. All this number stuff is fun, but we are probably just seeing the results of powerful people manipulating the leagues mainly for profit, but also social control, political influence, and who knows what else.

The Warriors would have been the better draw in the Finals, they had the more important players to greater narratives and future league and societal plans, so they needed to get there by hook or by crook. Same for the Bengals in the NFL. I'll never believe that Mahomes did not throw that game for Burrow's ascension.

Just because you asked... 22 is an important number in the world of gamantriah, numerology... There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, 22 paths in Kabbalah, 22 books in the original Old Testament, 22 is all over the Bible, along with 11 and 33, 22 is known as a master builder number. So, for the people who value numbers and believe they possess energy, they will have to celebrate/ritualize the date with 2s in some way to harness that energy (that's why this entire thread was started; that's why this year is important to people in that community). Desmond Bane would be chosen because he has the numbers (Bane = 22, February 2nd was 222 days from his birthday).

23 sounds cool, maybe it has some significance, but not necessarily important to the games yesterday. Yesterday, had a numerology of 27 (2+3+22) and it just so happened that every team that had a chance to get their 27th win got it. Some people actually do make money with it, but some people lose money from it, too. Nature of basing your bets 100% on any system, I imagine with lines/odds or whatever.

I agree that it is human nature, but those coincidences are tough to dismiss as random and unconnected to anything larger so we search, just like Mulder.

    So here's what I don't understand. February 2 was associated with 22 (I assume 02/02), yet you just associated 02/03 with 27 2+3+22. Why wasn't 02/02 associated with 26 instead of 22?

26 is not as important as 22.

So... why in this instance is just the last name (bane) used and in others the first and last and in others the first, last and middle and in still others the first, last and middle initial?

    What guides that process?

Thanks again for patiently answering my questions

Best fit sometimes, sometimes people are known by different names, but all names would matter because they exist. Bane is the best fit for this coincidence being that it matches his number, his stats, and the dates. Basketball also equals 22.

Looking closer at his numbers, he does have a lot of important numbers with Desmond Bane unrelated to the game the other night. 42 and 201 are both very important in that world, and 96 in an esoteric sense. Bane also has the 13 and 23 in addition to 22, which are all important numbers. So, according to his numbers, keep an eye on Desmond Bane in the future.
