would have been super lit if he got the shot.

Would have been a nice on the highlight reel.

I think his improvement has come by playing off the ball a lot more.

He’s not starting as many possessions and I think that has helped him tremendously.

And by the same token, Green has been starting more possessions and I think that has helped his growth as well.

Like you, I’d prefer a traditional pg and to have KPJ at the wing….

But I also like unconventional strategies so I can see a pathway to this working.

20-21 year olds with composure and with older vet's game is a rare thing.

Only one team has ever won a championship with a 'traditional' PG dominating possession and accounting for an overwhelming majority of his team's assists.

And that team was Magic's Lakers, roughly forty years ago.

Check out NBA Storyteller's video "No Left - A Basketball Revelation" on YouTube, it's great stuff.

Having more than one playmaker is probably the single greatest predictor of a contending teams likelihood of winning a chip

I guess we'll just have to see how this all plays out. Stone hasn't exactly spelled out his roadmap to returning us to playoff relevance. Does it include getting a young player who's more of a pure point guard, hopefully one who also has other skills? He may surprise us, at this deadline or sometime later, perhaps this summer. Of course, he may not. ;-)

It would have been beautiful had he made it. He came really close to doing just that.

Which is not what I said.

I dislike the way Harden plays and it was one of the main reasons I wanted him gone so I’m not looking for any player to come in and dominate the ball.

I was agreeing with you that it is a good thing having KPJ and Green each play off ball sometimes and share playmaking duties.

And agreeing with you that the one-guy-does-it-all thing doesn't work in the postseason, like we saw with James.

    Not arguing.

Nope, not a single game in college and will likely still go in the top 5-6 with a real shot at going as high as #1. His natural talent and skill level is very high. Private workouts will make or break him.

That's how volatile the top of draft is in 2022.

There is no consensus for 1st overall from week to week.

Banchero, Jabari, Chet and now Sharpe have all been projected #1 overall.

I give you that but there just have to be multiple players who are better than KPJ in the draft.

    It is not that hard.

Sure there are more experienced more natural PG in draft and FA but not with KPJ size, defense and offensive upside.

There is a reason why Rockets are taking their time developing KPJ who they believe has Harden-like potential.

He epitomizes low risk, high reward.

It's the same with Jaygup, his NBA comp was Harden.

That implies KPJ has the ability to learn from this experience. We can’t even be 100% sure he won’t flip out during games and go home. He needs to work on being an NBA player first before mouthing off to MVPs.

What a strange thing to be triggered about.

Who the FVCK cares what he said to Steph, you guys are even more upset than crybaby Curry.

Steph gave KPJ lots of love at end of game and postgame interviews.

I think KPJ’s focus need to be internal. He already has enough on his plate without looking for more.

Let the professionals, actual mental health coaches, like John Lucas figure that out.

I'm sure Scoot will take your expert medical advice under consideration.
