I don’t blame the trades on Easterby. Other than following Deshaun around, there were reports of him following other players around as well- including Kenny Stills. I believe Easterby was “suspicious that players were doing drugs” or something of that nature. (Probably smoking weed- who cares?) My point is more directed towards your statement about how people would feel if Flores was in the building. I’d counter that with the relationship history between Flores, Easterby, and Caserio- ultimately there will have to be some level of trust for all parties to be on board. FWIW, my opinion is that Flores is absolutely justified in his anger about the process-he in particular- claims he went through. The NYG interview was clearly a sham and he didn’t have a fair shot at a job that was already filled. I don’t really know about all the other stuff to have an opinion
Ive heard multiple players on record praising Easterby. The ones who don’t like him are likely the ones who where/are problem players Watson and Hopkins mainly.
Forgot about Kenny add him to the long list of players who have left here since Easterby has got here that have amounted to nothing.
The players love Easterby, stop lying. Not one player has said a negative word about the man. It's only worthless crap stirring atheist media and deluded atheist so called fans that talk about him because he believes that Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior and they're jealous of his paycheck
I'm not sure what there is to be mad about regarding the NY Giants interview. Would you accept the opportunity to interview for an amazing job, even if there was a low probability of landing it? I know I would. It's an opportunity to impress them that many coaches would love to have. If Flores thinks it's a sham, then his beef should be with the Rooney Rule itself, and not with the teams that were simply complying with the rule.
NFL players have not directly called Jack Easterby out, but players like Randall Cobb or Charles Omenihu have called the Texans a "circus show" compared to their new teams. It's quite clear that unless you think they are referencing someone else, they are talking about Easterby, Cal, and Nick Casieiro. I doubt they are singling out Nick because he seems to be qualified at his job and knows what he's doing. So they are either talking about Cal or Jack, probably both.
Florio is 100% a virtue signaler. He's one of those guys who cries about the journalism industry not bringing in Minorities, but doesn't actually hire minorities himself (look it up). I don't disagree with everything he says, but as the ONLY team in the NFL that's had a black head coach, GM, and QB. The irony behind "will the Texans do the right thing" just seems like someone taking a swing at the easy media target. People don't want to hear this, but from a diversity standpoint, there's much worse out there than the Texans....
You can't admit that players "directly haven't called out Easterby", then say when they call out the Texans they're talking about Easterby.... We KNOW our ownership ain't the best, but when you compare the success of a franchise like Green Bay or San Francisco...there's quite a few teams that would qualify as a "circus show". No one ever said Pittsburgh was a circus show when they had Le'Veon Bell AND Antonio Brown but were winning 12/year. But you KNOW when those 2 were there, it was 100% a circus show.... winning cures a lot of this stuff....
Word on the street is Easterby is making another push to get his guy- McCown. The Caserio situation all over again… smfh
