Lol the national media (specifically ESPN) bashes the Texans every chance they get. I really hope people don’t think they will get any sort of credit for hiring Flores. Caserio just needs to hire the guy he believes is best suited for the job. If he blows this he won’t get a chance to hire a third coach. If it’s Flores great…if not that’s okay too. Just don’t hire Flores thinking it will buy them some goodwill from everyone else. Because it won’t.
This 1000% I’ve been saying all along I hope Caserio gets the freedom to hire who he wants. I also hope that everybody is all aligned on this hire from the very top to the very bottom. Only way to turn this franchise around
Actually it's a good idea if they can play it right. Nice way to leverage a Super Bowl. Don't use emails or direct contact. You don't want Cal to accidently CC the players association.
I understand exactly what you’re saying… but Illegal activity 101- never leave a paper trail. *not that I’d trust Cal to have enough brains for this- but Easterby is very sneaky and Caserio may have some mob ties. This is where the Boston connections may come in handy

There's no way the Texans can hire Flores at this point. He's toxic and everyone would be walking on eggshells around him for fear of a frivolous lawsuit. Why bring that type of risk into an organization?
And what has Easterby done that's been wrong? Checking in on Deshaun Watson's personal life -- which it sounds like was sorely needed? Don't blame the bad trades on Easterby -- that was all O'Brien.
