Green is assisted on 53% of his shots, and it actually is a huge difference when 1 player is taking significantly more shots and facing a lot more defensive attention Jimmy Butler barely ever played against starters the guy who barely played against starters and hardly did anything offensively…the guy who for many games was playing against the other team’s garbage time lineup…that’s the PER and WS you’re trying to hold on so tightly to…I mean, really?

Jimmy Butler played over 10 minutes in a game just 13 times out of 42 games…and in at least 1 of those games, it was him playing the entire 4th of a game because the Bulls were down 20+ the amount of time he played against starters was miniscule…the amount of time he played against guys that weren’t end of bench players, forget starters, wasn’t that much either…so that’s what he was accumulating his little PER and WS against as a rookie

Tonight he was very selfless and very smart with the ball. He did not hunt for his shot until game winding down and team needed the best shooters to nail some game ending 3's.
