That was within the flow of the offense, that wasn’t him jacking up early shots - and not moving off the ball trying to get his numbers … his 3 came off a Green pass and he was open .. it’s a difference and you know it

3ball shooters shoot when they have space.

Green missed a ton of 3's before tonight but he was not criticized for shooting the 3 within some arbitrary flow of offense BS.

Green was criticized previously because he was not a efficient 3ball shooter who fixated on volume.

Wood is the leading scorer on the Rockets and it was his scoring that saved that win.

At least be honest that your hate is misplaced.

At least for THIS game which was a WIN and which Wood had a major contribution.

Rockets win by 20+ if not for Wood going stupid for first 4-5 minutes of 3rd qtr… once he started playing back in the offense then the lead grew again.

Green is placed in the same position as Tate / KMJ often… he’s off the hall opposite side of court behind the 3pt line

He’s also the 4th option if KPJ Wood and Gordon is on the court and the Rockets don’t shoot midrange so his shots will either be 3s or layups so our team is mostly inefficient 3pt shooters who depend on volume

 

And Kelvin Cato is next in line for the HOF.

 

So Wood is the 4th option but he is not only the Rockets leading scorer but he's averaging 20/10 for the season, that's damned impressive.

Wood is one of the best 3P shooters on the team averaging 37% from 3P for the season and shooting 43% in the last 5 games.

Versus Cavs, Wood shot an amazing 42.9%.

This is a CENTER we're talking about.

I think your hate is blinding you to what's really going on in Rockets games.

All that stuff you just posted is nonsense.

And FYI, Wood was a cool +3 when he was in the game tonight.

Green went cold in the 3rd but I don't see you shrieking about how he disappeared or almost cost Rockets the game.

Because that would be an unreasonable reaction.

Green was part of great team win and played his best most well rounded game of season IMO.

And fyi, Green was a net neutral +/- when on court tonight, just like his number.

This went horribly wrong. We won the game, and Mobley won the battle. So like, terrible. We needed to lose, and have Green win the battle.

Nice win. That team has been impressive all season, but man, their backcourt is really depleted now. Rondo at this point is not a solution to anything. I know Garland will be back soon and he's the main guy but he cannot play 48 mins every night and when he's out they got nothing.

Pretty sure they'll do something, maybe EG, maybe LaVert. But even guys like Gary Harris or Terrence Ross who are very available will be upgrade.

The early whistles helped us, too. They had to sit guys down and they are quite depleted at the moment....
