Gannon runs a 4-3 / cover 2 scheme. Similar to Lovie.

To the dumbasses who said I would have tank and gladly accepted 100k per L

Minorities already have sht luck as it is to get hired. If they give up their morals/convictions to disrespect the game for potentially 1.7 mil a season. The owners can then dump the minority coach like trash citing, poor performance whenever they want.

Aside from being slandered as a sht coach, the chances of getting hired is slim to none. Black folks rarely get second chances.

But yea Flores is the "dumbass" for not making ez money committing a crime and doing what the owner wants.

A good competent coach can easily make up the money if they reject match fixing bribes and get to keep their integrity intact.

    Haha musta struck a nerve.

Regardless of how you and your little feelings internalize the delivery, the Texans hired a Black coach thinking Deshaun would be dumb enough to stay because “they tried”, right?!

    Riiiiight…

As you can see, it didn’t work.

They then floated news about how Culley was short bus and needed ‘training wheels’ in the media because, I mean, the guy is too stupid for the job.

I see you pushing that same narrative on this board….I wouldn’t be shocked if you worked for the Texans.

It was all a set up.

Culley didn’t deliver on getting Deshaun to stay…so, let’s find a way to get him outta here without us looking too bad.

Oh, ALLLLLL the coaches became available…still no hire. Haha.

Culley getting his money, i’m not feeling sorry for dude.

I’m just telling you and any other people like you with their heads in the sand that the Texans ONLY hired Culley to fire him.

If he was that bad, why hire him in the first place?!

    I’ll tell you why…

BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WANTED THAT EFFIN JOB!!!

Fking delusional if u buy into the sht we hired culley in an attempt to convince Watson to stay.

We could have hired McCown last year, with that lame ass excuse no one wanted the effing job.

    Stop being a revisionist.

There’s a huge difference between these 2 things.
For one, the Rockets are losing a lot of games bc they are extremely young and inexperienced. They have some talent but they aren’t in a position to win consistently. They certainly aren’t paying Silas to purposefully make decisions that result in losing.

First of all, you have your facts wrong. The pick would have been Burrow, and despite that before the season the goal was to “tank for tua.” Nobody would have known that Burrow was going to blow up like that, and yet they still were in a position to pick Tua, and they did, instead of Justin Herbert, so it was stupidity all the way around.

You can try and spin this any way you want. **** Stephen Ross and his collusion and all of his BS. He should be banned from the league at the very least suspended for at least a year. I don’t even know what we are discussing. What he did is extremely against the rules and completely ****ed up and you’re over here lauding him.

You do understand the concept of a bridge coach right?!

    Riiiight…

Thats literally the definition. They hired him to eventually fire him. Sooner rather than later. He wasn’t even good enough to be that.

For what it’s worth, his resume looks like Bill Belichek’s compared to Jack Easterby for his role.

    Give me KOC.

Oh ****, I thought Harbaugh was going there. I’m behind on the news.

Until I know otherwise I’m still worried they are gonna go with McClown, even though he probably has a higher upside than Gannon. At the end of the day, who the hell knows.

Oh look, Basso-lite has enter the chat to defend the NFL and White Owners! Again, Color me SHOCKED!

There is proof of the $100,000 offer. WITNESSES! $100,000 is against NFL rules and may have been illegal because of Ross' investment into a Gambling start-up.

The BB texts is damning to the Giants' defense.

The Texans coaching search is like a really bad soap opera. Nothing to cheer about. No Grammys or award winning candidates. Nope. Just someone who isn't the Biggest Loser. All those NFL All Pro offensive linemen, running backs. and wide receivers will steer clear of coming to this team at this point.

Flores is all about winning. He had no business screwing around with the Texans. Texans are only looking for doormat yesmen. They are in no way interested in a winning culture.

What’s the percentage of “bridge coaches” that also happen to be Black?

I would bet money 95% of the 23+ Black head coaches hired since the Rooney Rule started, were “bridge coaches” as you so eloquently put it.

It bears out in the fact that there’s currently only 1 Black HC in the NFL, as of today.

    ONE!!!!

…and OF COURSE….he works for who?

    The Rooneys….
