Good for them if the numbers fit. I don't know what Liberalism has become or whether my needs fits theirs. The current information state is under stress, duress, and is undergoing an identity crisis. Hopefully, they have the spirit of doing their best rather than fall under sway to junk news cycle headlines, but that's the challenge of every generation.
Ehhhhh.. big deal. Young Democrats who watch Carlson are just as stupid as everyone else who watches Carlson for real news. If folks watch to see what an idiot he is, good for them.
It's scary that a lot of opinion cable news shows have been considered "news" for decades and decades. So many people bag on young people for being idiots believing anything they see or hear online (true), meanwhile, so many of our parents and grandparents have been mindlessly regurgitating terrible cable and radio news sources their whole lives without question.
Tucker Is compelling in the same manner hot take ESPN shows are compelling. Ya hot takes are compelling but in a news format also dangerous. Ya shocking it's dangerous to scare the **** out of white racists that there is a genocide of their race going on in America.
So... do you take Carlson seriously? If so, then his own network's lawyers as well as a court of law considers you unreasonable. Congratulations. "A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit against Fox News after lawyers for the network argued that no "reasonable viewer" takes the primetime host Tucker Carlson seriously, a new court filing said. "US District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil agreed with Fox's premise, adding that the network "persuasively argues" that "given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrives with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statements he makes." "This 'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary,'" the ruling said.
