I also want Caserio to have to freedom to pick who he wants only way the Texans get to somewhat respectability. Owner GM HC All have to be aligned from top to bottom
So you're saying the owner is picking the coach instead of the GM that's supposed to be in charge of all the football stuff?
The other question is who exactly is competing for Josh McCown anyway? What prevents the Texans from telling him he's not ready yet, and how about he go try a real coaching job and prove that he has what it takes to lead heck a HS or college program before leading an NFL program? Are the Texans afraid that some other team will come in and scoop him up? Offer him a staff position and if he continues to improve expand his responsibility. Maybe in a few years he is HC material
I think it’s a not good thing because if the HR issues he appears to have created. I think the rest of it is mostly media created smoke.
He's getting his info from Texanstalk. And, while I think you're being facetious, the info from over there comes across as Cal not impeding, just not being on board with McCown. I'm guessing due to optics, but who knows. Either way, Cal and Janice disagreeing is likely a positive, imo. Janice is the real owner, and the more Cal dissents, maybe the less control he'll have.
If the Texans wanna do the right thing and change their perception around the league, then they would hire Flores. But the Texans never do the right thing so I'm sure they will hire the least qualified candidate.
Brian Flores lawsuit is flimsy. He's upset he didn't get the giants job so he's making himself out to be a victim. There's no discrimination anywhere in the statement provided. And I think he's a little stupid, the owner wanted Brady and Flores ran from the boat, the owner offered to pay him $100,000 per loss and Flores decides to win games to stick it to Ross, if that were offered to me I would've gone 0-17. Did he not think the owners talk to each other? I don't understand why everyone is so concerned with what the media and general public think of the Texans, the media ***** on the team and its fans at every opportunity, **** what they think. I don't care who Nick hires, at this point I'm leaning towards McCown just because the media thinks it's such a bad idea. **** em
Like clockwork… they were just waiting on another team to announce before they did lol sounds like Gannon. I’m on board
HC Gannon but really McCown OC McCown DC McCown dressed up as Lovie Smith Special Teams McCown QB Coach McCown LB Coach McCown OL Coach McCown
No one is paying/bribing a person to intentionally throw games. What we want as fans and what the org actually does is a different story. It's against the law for folks to do that type of sht.
