This entire message board has been a cesspool since the draft. I've never seen it this bad.

Agreed, the Jalen Green fans are some of the most toxic this board has seen since the Lin fan infestation.

They are still in the Anger phase of grief. It should start to calm down at Depression when they come to grips with who was drafted.

You are as much part of the problem as they are.

There are no "Jalen Green Fans". He's a rookie who got drafted in a draft with a consensus Top 3. He was one of the 3. The Green despisers that flood every game thread, every Jalen thread, every Porter thread to spout off nonsense about someone or something being a Jalen Fan just because they're willing to...look at the bright side of a kid that has only played half a season and has shown a lot of promise? That's what constitutes a Jalen fanboy? Clutch himself has said that Jalen's development is this team's #1 priority. Anyone with half a brain should know that. Sengun is second. Everyone else on this team is disposable. Those are the only two that matter. That's the reality. Even Christopher, Garuba and Tate can be packaged off and no one should bat an eyelash.

Green, Sengun and whoever we draft this July. That's the only thing that matters. That and getting a coaching staff that can develop that talent. It's not about being a "fanboy". It is what it is.

The irony is that the "Green fans" are just Rockets fans. That other group? Well...

And I have never seen so much whining from grown ass and middle aged people about a rookie.

I mean, come on, the Rockets had some great players along the way and survived everything and everyone's playing career so far.

Grow a thicker skin and toughen up.

So what, the last Championship was 26 years ago.

    No way!

All that G league has got to count for something.

It's amazing that his only playing for 4 years was glossed over and people had the nerve to say he was more NBA ready than Mobley or that he would be flirting with scoring 20ppg.

I disagree. I'm part of the solution. See above, the final step is "acceptance", I'm trying to help the cultists reach that point by injecting reality into the conversation from time to time.

    LOL!

Did you miss the AB vs Lowry battles?

    The YOF's

    Linsanity part II

    Monty vs The Homeless Stomper?

This is not bad at all if you really look at it, some people just get caught up in their feelings as always.

    This,

bobby has been toxic in nearly every single thing he wants to engage discussion on. It's been like that for 9 whole years.

"I want to say something that’s going to sound strange, but we’re all players here. When I say it, they’re going to understand what I’m saying.

Once he learns how to “play” basketball, he’s going to be a star. Of course he can play, he’s talented. But each time you get to a different level, you have to re-adjust your game and learn how to play. It’s not all about dunking, and it’s not all about flashy play. Once he learns how to slow down, develop his game, and says ‘This is who I want to be as an NBA player,’ he’s definitely going to be a superstar."

In fairness, if you replace all of the definitive statements into "maybe" or "if" type statements, what he said wouldn't be ridiculous.

It's possible that if Jalen Green learns how to play basketball, he could one day be a star.....maybe.

    That's a perfectly defensible statement.

Hahaha, now I remember who you are. You’re the guy who made a .gif of JGreen serving pancakes to Popovich, a la Prince/Chapelle before a Spurs game. You’ve come down a long way from thinking he can pwn Pop to hanging onto Shaq’s "words of wisdom"… Hahaha
You have to at least acknowledge that the skeptics had a firmer grasp on reality than your ridiculous early expectations.

So if you have something positive to say about Green, you're a cultist?

    Good to know

Josh Giddey just won ROM for the West again and his only competition is Green I believe

Green will get better. I know Im in the minority here But I still think he looks better when he is the one handling the ball and initiating the offense through the pickin roll. Combine this with the fact that there is 0 offensive scripting for him to curl, shoot off of screens or cut to the rim. He isn't good right now but they are doing very little to help him.

If your delusional love for Green has caused you to completely lose touch with reality, yes, you are a cultist.

He's literally one of, if not the worst player in the league.....so yeah, if you are heaping glowing praise on him anyway.....and you screech any time someone points out his obvious struggles, it appears to be some weird religious thing compell9ing such absurd behavior.

    yeah, other general hallmarks are:
    1. cognitive dissonance: finding constant excuses and rationalizations, "explaining things away", rejecting data that conflicts with the pre-existing beliefs.
    2. Vicious attacks on "infidels" who don’t share the same level of devotion, purity purges
