    Trump's tactics have usually included relying on the fair play and basic goodness of other people even though he has no intention of reciprocating. He can safely count on Kamala Harris respecting the election results if he wins, even while he's planning on accusing her of corruption if he loses.

    The prosecutor's behavior in that case was odd, but I'm not intimately familiar, so I don't know if it really is.

    But, I would point out that guy still got 10 years in prison. That's not a slap on the wrist, and may be appropriate. I think the longest Jan 6 sentence so far is 5 years.
