KPJ has a ton of talent and I am rooting for him, but I find myself getting more frustrated with his play. I know he has hit some big shots and has been putting up better numbers, but I hate his style of play.

As I watched the game last night I counted how many times more than 2 people per possession (KPJ + another; usually Wood since he was the same issue) touched the ball when KPJ dribbles the ball up the court or receives it first out of bounds. I didn't do this for the whole game, but a solid 15+ minutes of the game. I counted ONCE. When he left the game, almost every single play had 3+ people touch the ball per possession.

Even James Harden couldn't win like that. It's very predictable and everyone just stands there. It doesn't matter who is on the court with KPJ, there's simply less body movement. Basketball is like that, ball moves, bodies move.

I hope KPJ succeeds in the NBA, but if he is going to keep playing this style, I don't want any part of it.

If he gets even better, he will get the Harden treatment. Every loss will be his fault and folks will complain even more about him.

He's not a point guard. He has talent, but he's not a point guard. Neither his handles nor his feel for the flow of the game is at an NBA PG level.

It is my opinion and only my opinion, but when KPJ leads the offense it becomes a 2 on 2 game and I don't believe he'll ever be good enough to win that way.

KPJ has improved, is easy to root for, has a ton of talent. But, his style needs to change unless if you truly in your heart believe he will be better than prime CP3, prime Harden, current Luka.

He can be a point guard, but he has that trait about him where the plays need to be run through him every time.

I don’t think KPJ will ever figure it out despite his talents. He doesn’t seem to have what it takes between the ears.

Who else would you run plays through though? There's no other primary ball handlers in the starting lineup.

I would not overrate this but in any playoff game, every opponent is going to zero in on him.

I wasn't ready to waive him before, but I was totally saying they needed to move him to the bench. So glad to eat some level of crow especially if he keeps on improving. At the very least I think he's playing himself into being a tradeable player which is great regardless if you think he's a knucklehead or not.
