https://fanspo.com/nba/s/general/tr...-their-young-guys-rocketsbullswarriorspistons Similar to another trade i posted. Rockets get Patrick Williams, Gary Payton II, Warriors 2022 FRP Warriors get Christian Wood Bulls get Jerami Grant Pistons get James Wiseman, Derrick Jones Jnr, 2027 Bulls FRP, 2024 GS 2nd (via Houston), 2024 Brooklyn 2nd (via Houston) Bulls get a replacement for their injuries, unfortunately have to give up a pick and a youngin to get there. Pistons get a core young big, who IMO has a higher upside than Isaiah Stewart, as well as what should be a good pick from an aged out Bulls. Warriors get Wood to cover the 5 spot and pick their offense up in the regular season a bit. Rockets get an AWESOME peice to put next to Sengun next year, as well as a late pick in this years draft.
I wonder what it would take to get Lamelo off the Hornets. Obviously they'd laugh at Jalen and KPJ, i'm just wondering what else we could do to sweeten the deal.
Would love to acquire Matisse Thybulle too. Rockets need so much more length and disruption on defense.
People are asking for picks to take on that contract, there definitely has to be compensation for that as well as two excellent playoff options in Gordon and Wood.
As the deadline nears Wood’s value is so low. Waiting killed the return. Watching him play guard is like taller Kenny Smith all over again. Stats and skills are there but something is missing.
The Jazz are now looking to replace Ingles. Not sure anyone on our teams fits the bill, but KJM would be interesting. It's odd because I know he isn't worth multiple 1st rounders, but he looks to be a top 15 player from the last draft, so a pick in the late 20's seems like a step backward. Also, KJ isn't paid like a top 15 player from last year, he's playing for peanuts.
A terrific defender at 6'5" with a 6'11" wingspan. Not so great at the other end of the court, but yeah, he'd look great in a Rockets uni. Has a nice contract now, but will be a restricted free agent in 2023.
i think the jazz might want gordon now? KJ can't replace ingles shooting. Anyhow, its good news for the rockets as it adds another potential buyer on the market unless the jazz just blow it up. I doubt they'd want wood. But they may try to go for grant or turner and bring up the price for wood or gordon as a second option to some teams
Lakers won’t trade AD this year, but here you go. https://fanspo.com/nba/s/rockets/tr...or-title-lakers-still-in-it-and-secure-future
