    This is what be getting to me. Josh McCown who is very smart... like everyone else that's a candidate is not as smart but has all the coaching experience Josh doesn't have.

    Am I an idiot (don't answer that) or does Gannon as HC and McCown as OC sound like a pretty good deal?

    Same but delete McCown completely. They hire him? It’s only enjoyable because it’s insane. Let him be QB coach.

    Whole process reminds me of last year lol....If they had only followed ($$$ paid for) Korn Ferry's consultation, Omar Khan would've been the Texans' GM which I think a number of us thought was the choice....

    Top candidates (which safe to say, we're all good with):
    Gannon
    KOC
    Flores

    I'm feeling good about this....we're not going to make the same mista.....

    Yes it is given the alternative is freaking Josh McCown as your HC. But still you are leaving up the entire offense on a guy who has never coached beyond high school.

    Regardless, I still find it hard to believe Caserio’s first choice for either position is McCown.

    Right. I believe it will be offered to Flores. Saints will offer him too so if he's not the head coach here it's because he wants to coach elsewhere.
