Give Sengun time, I have confidence he'll pick up his outside shooting. At his size he'd suit playing the 4 better than the 5 anyway, and we need a legit rim protector to funnel the drives to in the center.

I'm hoping this is the last yr for that. I think if we had bigger forwards, it would help where we are weak; defense and inside scoring.

If his average was same as his numbers tonight no one would complain so vociferously.

Green missed 5 treys out of 7 attempts (but 28% is much better than 12%) and was a -2.0 tonight with only 3 turnovers to 5 AST.

That is so much better than the -13 he was averaging the previous 3 games.

    So baby steps.

    Lol bro what?

    Where you been?

Tilman had zero to do with it.

    It was all Harden.

The funniest thing for me is people not understanding the difference between 'he'll never be good' versus 'he's not good now'.

The funniest thing is beating those people over the head with that distinction, still wouldn't clue them in on it.

17 pts on 11 fgs is very efficient for a rook. Cade tonight went 3/17 for 8 points.
I too think he should cut back on all the threes and drive more. But we don't even run P&R for our guys.

I'm fairly confident in him becoming a respectable jump shooter, and even more confident in him eventually getting to NBA level strength.....but's he's going to continue to have extremely ugly stretches until he gets one or the other

Obviously he's not playing his mind out right now, that goes without saying. The issue I have is with people claiming he shows no potential or development and is a surefire bust. It's asinine, especially when despite his shooting woes, the other facets of his game have come on a long way from the beginning of the season. He's a much smarter defender (whilst still not being even average yet, his improvement is still pretty noticeable and it continues to improve) is rebounding better, making much better reads and decisions (though his passing is very hit and miss, at least with the reads he's getting people easy buckets way more than he did at the beginning of the year.) It actually surprises me how little supposed fans of this team actually see the areas he is developing in, it's almost like they want the player to be as bad as possible. Kinda odd/pathetic really being a "fan" who roots for the team and players in said team to fail, I'll never understand it.

Silas is either gaslighting us or completely hopeless.

I think I preferred him more being absolutely soul crushed and crying after double digit losses.

(kidding) :D - Hollins did call him out a few times. He gambled and if it doesn't pay off, team was left to scramble.

The owner of the team had nothing to do with how sht our team is now?

It was a combination of Tilman being cheap and harden not wanting to tank.
Imagine telling any player to compete with John wall and Cousins as his co stars LOL.
    All harden my ass,

My biggest fear with the draft is that Banchero/Jabari aren't solving this teams defensive issues. After watching the "development" of Sengun/Green this year I'm also not convinced this coaching staff is even capable of developing young talent.

Sengun seems to have regressed and I haven't seen any real progress lately in teams getting him the ball or him being heavily involved in the offense. I'm probably more concerned about him right now than Green.
