b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but Jalen is a rookie and had a 30 point game joining ELITE company he is best rookie no other rookie score 30 superstar. Yikes. Another talking point for the JOFs is quickly removed.
Y'all remember when they said Cade is 6'8-9 coming out. I swear he's 6'5 at best. I'm good with Jabari Tim Duncan Smith. Let's tank every year!
that is his biggest weakness…he has many games where he doesn’t even get a single free throw he dropped 34 against Denver with 0 free throw attempts he doesn’t have problems getting to the rim, so it looks like he needs to improve his flopping and yelling
Cade is great. Was bummed to not get him but I think Green will end up giving him a run for his money over the next 10 years.
I didn’t want to bump this thread, so I stayed back and decided to chill I still get salty when watching Cade play
Never understood the Bagley hate. Not his fault Luka and Trae Young turned out to be superstars. Basically averaged 14 and 8 his first 3 seasons, but was treated like a bum.
Cade is excellent. JG is making exciting improvements in some Cade-like directions, too, notably his 7 assist game the other night. It's really hard to get that many assists unless you play point or you're a natural.
I figured Cade would have a better first year because they were going to allow him to run the offense a lot. There’s not really anyone there that’s going to be pushing him into a spot up shooter role for stretches at a time. I liked and still think Cade is a beast, but I think Green hasn’t really been put in a favorable position to shine. I think Cade, Mobley, and Barnes went to great situations for them to get off to fast starts. Suggs, I think needs the ball in his hands more as well. But I still like all those guys as well as multiple of their players in this class. In the end I think it’ll end up being an all time great class.
I maintain if I were to do this draft, I would draft Cade at No. 1 100 times over. He is the most complete player out of everyone, I am glad he is coming along nicely too. All the rookies are coming into their own at their own pace. I always liked how patient his reads are on offense, nothing is in a rush. He might not be the most athletic guard out there, which is affecting his efficiency, but he's very steady
They're both coming along. Cade's biggest issue has been his shot, I think. It was horrid. Still is overall, but he's been picking it up recently. People say Giddey can't shoot, but Cade makes Giddey look like Steph Curry sometimes. To compound it, he puts up a lot of shots, too. He's been putting up like 16-20 shots per game lately. That being said, I think many of the rookies are starting to take control of the ball a bit more. Now I guess they'll have to focus more on making shots and being consistent at it.
