The texans need to do something big. Do the opposite of Ted Lasso. Hire a proper football coach out of England who knows nothing of American football and make him the head coach. Couldn't be worse than Cully or hiring McCown. Maybe some interesting hijinks will come of it and there will be a fun tv show.
Most coveted would mean you have a choice of jobs, not that you're hired first. Denver, in particular, might be chasing Aaron Rodgers with their coaching hire.
The secret interview wins! Great news. Anything from a McVay tree is seeming to work. Put it on the Texans to be the first one that doesn't, but doesn't hurt to copy.
I’m actually super relived that outside of Flores, there hasn’t been a bunch of smoke about Mayo and McDaniels- which was widely assumed. Logically speaking (which there hasn’t been a whole lot of that within the Texans org. Lately)- no one would understand the why/how nearly every coaching candidate under Bill Belichick has failed, more than Nick Caserio. I’m starting to get intrigued and I’m really hoping for one of Kevin O’Connell or Gannon
I was specifically talking about the Texans- which I should’ve made more clear. there was a report saying that majority of the staff would stay in place but to be honest, there hasn’t been a lot of accurate reporting on the Texans lately. So I’d say nothing is for sure
