Solid episode, but things I didn't like included the droid woman. I just don't think she fits as a character. And they dragged that out. But they did the sword justice as well as the Mandalorian story. Atmosphere. So solid episode all around.
Dude literally stole the show and didn't even help him yet. Gotta drop off his present before doing anything else (where were the scraps? I thought he was gonna beef up his leg armor with it...)
Agreed, thought they could have cut a large chunk of the Amy Sedaris scene her wacky character only works in small chunks. Other than that I really enjoyed it....
Boy - some of you guys are so harsh and picky.... I am an oldschool Star Wars fan who really got turned off with anything new due to Jar Jar Binks. My son and wife think I am nuts and after our trip to Disney World last month, I told them I would try to watch some of the new star wars stuff. So I have been watching The Mandalorian and this series. I get it that some of you don't like Temeura Morrison in the role of Boba Fett but Jon Favreau or whoever has decided that they want to go in the direction that Boba is now chilling and more of a crimelord type. I get the impression that you guys want to see him running around and killing people left and right and act like he is some 20 year old something but that Boba Fett doesn't exist anymore. Besides, you have "Mando" to do all that stuff anyway so sit back and relax and give this new character arc a chance. I like it and yes the last episode was probably the best but the other episodes haven't been that bad.
Liked this episode a lot. Can’t wait to see the Grogu reunion. That’s what I like about the new series especially the Mandolorian was finding out what happened with Ashoka, and filling in the blanks. Hopefully we get to see what happened with Ezra Bridger for example. Isn’t everyone curious what happened with Grogu now? I sure as heck want to know.
Seeing BD-1 makes me think we are going to see a different Jedi before we see Ezra… and I’m here for it.
Maybe I’m missing something but why again is Mando so concerned with Grogu when he just left him to go be with the most badass Jedi in the universe??
Goodness gracious, what a huge uptick in quality for this episode. Indeed, we all know why. It's like watching an NBA player take on average Joes at the Y. Just a huge difference in ability.
i read people saying this was by far the best episode in the series, but i dont get it. the entire show was basically them fixing up a spaceship. it wasnt much of a story/plot...they didnt really do anything.
She asked him to do a job and he's like hold my beer, i gotta deliver some jewelry to my 70 yr old baby. That's my Mando! Mando sexy. 60 yr old dad bod Bob yucky,
Spoiler Did you only watch the second half of the episode? What about the awesome bounty fight? What about the coven armorer being back and the other zealout mandalorian? Grogu gift? Darksaber history and Mando's lack of control with the sword (hinting potentially Mando becoming a jedi to learn how to use it)? Badass duel? Mando getting kicked out and is now an apostate? That's at the very least half an episode, furthering the storyline of Mando and setting up future storylines. And regarding the plane, it was kinda cool seeing the buildup from scrap yard ship to a potentially awesome jet fighter that the cops can't catch up with. Think Fast and Furious in outer space with ship blasters. Sure, if building cars is not your kind of thing, it can be boring (personally I'm not a big fan of car stuff) but I loved what happened at the end with the patrol. Lots of details even that were kind of funny such as the kid on the airplane. Simply put, I can watch Pedro Pascal doing a radio voice with a helmet on an entire episode and get faaaaar more out of it than I could watching Boba Fat be a ridiculously crappy crime lord who shows no character growth but somehow was a badass hunter right before and now is a wimpy dad bod 60 year old with diapers on that gets his ass beat left and right. I say that not actually hating the show mind you, it's just a stark difference in quality, acting ability, and storyline between the two shows.
Boba Fett is still the weakest part of the show However the expanded universe fans are eating good these last 2 episodes.
All this stuff would be even more hype if it didn't all have to lead in to the shitty sequel trilogy.
