A policy of dependence on monoclonal antibodies or pills is one of the dumbest things Republican policymakers from FL and other states have pushed for. Those should be backup in case you get infected and at high risk even though vaccinated. Another example of Republican politicians' policy and unvaxxed by choice draining critical and limited resources. These folks probably also have no idea how dangerous Paxlovid can be. It's an awesome backup, but it's come with some nasty side effects (including death) especially if given improperly or if you are on other drugs. But hey, vax are dangerous.
The same Florida department of health that put a country medical director on leave for encouraging his staff members to get vaccinated? A department led by someone who who says states should be promoting "good health" and vaccines aren't the only path to that. Someone that was appointed but has no background in COVID-19 but instead obesity? Someone that refused to leave a state senator's office when the senator asked him to leave for refusing to wear a mask (despite her having cancer)?

I wasn't a few weeks ago until I got it. Wasn't boostered but I likely had Rona before. I guess if you're worried about getting it, get a booster as the chart suggests. I don't think it's a magic bullet in the sense that a shot tailored for Omi will arrive in March at the soonest.
