No its not. But anyone with any common sense understands the basics of black history contributes to the current condition of blacks. Is that really hard to understand?

Wow, you really are going off the deep end.

Why do you think that is what is currently being taught in schools or that kids would draw that conclusion?

If racist parents are teaching their kids that, It's not much CRT can do for them because they will not believe it anyway.

Why can't we just teach the facts and let kids conclude for themselves which is the way it always has been done, do you think teachers are currently teaching that black culture is the cause of anything?

Why are you so hellbent on teaching what you think CRT is in schools at all?

What led up to Egyptian culture? American high schools are focused on American history because they are in America

    WTF????

Egyptian Culture and Greek Culture are not the same... The only thing those 2 have in common history wise is Cleopatra and Antony.....

The only thing Greek and Roman have in common is that they are from Mediterranean countries...

Roman is closer to Spain than it is anything else...

I never said they were the same. Greeks learned from Egyptians. They have an influence on our culture, that's why we learn about them

Edit: to be fair it does seem I said Greek culture comes from Egyptians. Egyptians have an overall influence on Western civilization, that's why we learn about them.

More than half the country will actually say the modern wealth gap issue is due to "black culture" because "slavery ended over 100 years ago". This talking point is spammed to death in not just right wing circles but moderate conservative circles.

We weren't TAUGHT about any of the strife in the 60s and only taught a negligible amount of the history of black america post civil war (and nothing 'controversial' or negative).

You can't fix this in school. Conservatives learn their politics at home. Fixing conservatives isn't the purpose of school

They both learned from each other... As Roman conquered land, they incorporated the people into their systems with that they also incorporated their knowledge on Math, Science and so forth....

Both Egypt and Romans learned from each other...

Also no the Greeks did not learn from the Egyptians how you're stating it.... Did they learn some things from each other.. Yes just like the Egyptians and Romans from trade... Two very different cultures.... Plus if you do believe that, then you will have to believe that the Euro society learned everything they know from the African society.... Hmmm smoke that **** right there....

Actually many kids raised in conservative housholds change their outlook on society/politics based in the education they recieved in grade school and college. And it isn't always the education itself but the people they become friends with and interact with that creates said paradigm shift.

Part of the reason why conservatives are irrationally fearful of public education is because it allows their kids to escape the ideological bubble of their home.

What did that have to do with what I was taught? I knew about events in the 60s, but I didn't know the ins and outs.

What does that have to do with anything? I knew about WWI and WWII, so did that mean I shouldn't have been taught about WWI and WWII?

Bro as much much as you talk about my. insecurities you need to let that North Forest stuff go. I don't prejudge intelligence on your school. North Forest was a bad district overall but when I was young a lot of the kids I grew up with had parents that didn't emphasize education.

I'm sure if you wanted you could have. One of the things that have realized about college education is that it didn't matter if you went to Harvard or TSU, all colleges are teaching the same thing. The same is true for high school. The overall quality of school is affected by many different things

Did you learn anything about social unrest during the sixties in school not just civil rights?

All high schools and colleges are teaching the same thing? That's clearly false. You think a place like Liberty University is teaching the same things as Stanford? You think a private Catholic or Baptist school is teaching the same thing as Klein or Wheatley?
