If you believe Jordan Schultz, the Vikings are interested.

I don't. Mainly because they don't have a coach or GM at the moment.

Pretty sure Scarface said Allen wasn’t better than Watson

It’s not even debatable. Allen is the far superior player. Bigger, faster, stronger, better arm, more of a gamer.
Mahomes and Allen are different level than Watson

When the Texans get a big haul for Watson, the reason will be teams disagree with you.

No one is saying he’s not valuable. He’s not in Mahomes and Allen territory

I saw some things in the games today that made me rethink things.

Allen is a freak, LB size playing QB, great in the pocket, huge rocket arm, more accurate than I expected, and obviously is durable on the run.

Mahomes is exactly the same but not as big but with more impromptu craziness

If Watson wasn't such a total personal ****up we wouldn't be having this conversation and he'd be the Texans QB for years.

Mills is Mills. Talk to me in a year or 2, I hope he's more than "backup"

What does dated stats have to do with them? That is about the dumbest comparison I’ve seen. There’s literally no point to it

Watson and Mahomes aren’t comparable. Period

It’s close, but Watson has him by a finger or 2 margin.

    5. Forcing your way out of a bad situation invites criticism, but it looks like the smart strategy in retrospect for some players.

Matthew Stafford told the Detroit Lions he wanted out following the 2020 season. They traded him. Jalen Ramsey forced his way out of Jacksonville with tactics that seemed questionable at the time, including when he sat out multiple games with a back injury that some considered convenient. Odell Beckham Jr. also employed questionable tactics forcing his way off a roster, to the point his father used social media to drive a wedge between Beckham and the Cleveland Browns. All three players wound up on the Rams’ roster.

“Sometimes you have beliefs you are adamant about, and then things happen and you look back and change your opinion,” a former NFL GM said. “I thought Ramsey was a complete jerk, what he did to get out of Jacksonville. You know what? He changed his whole legacy. He has a chance for the Hall of Fame, he might win a championship. If he was stuck in Jacksonville, you never would have heard of him. You might not like how he did it, but if that was your nephew and we were advising him, that is what we should have advised him to do, right? What about the quarterback of the Rams? Should Stafford have done that five years earlier? He has all the talent. What was he missing? Wins.”

    Lady Justice moves slow.

We should know whether he will be criminally indicted by March 1st.

I can see this point, where sometimes it is necessary to do what you gotta do as a player to get out of a situation. The difference between these examples and Watson is none of these guys were staring down the barrel of 22 civil lawsuits and a possible federal indictment that relate to weird, bizarre, deviant and disgusting behavior, while sitting out an entire season. I don't know, I feel a guy with that much baggage has some ridiculous nerve to not only feel like the organization he plays for isn't good enough for him, but on top of that continually refuse to waive no trade clauses and make it extra difficult to move him like how he wants.

    Man, eff Deshaun.

Buzbee continues to use the media to frame the narrative. Watson/Hardin can be 110% sure he's innocent, but Watson’s public image is sure being worked over quite meticulously by the opposition.

Great observation and good find. My first reaction after reading this was "Yuck!", but it's clear Buzbee is going to intensify the pressure as they get closer to some of these milestones in this situation, as well as knowing DW wants to restart his career and most likely can't do that unless he settles with his accusers.

Besides the 22, the interesting part are the women that have filed criminal complaints, but aren't suing. Not an attorney, but curious as to how DW's side will approach that element of this mess.

From a trade value standpoint, this is not at all helpful. I hate to look at it from that standpoint, but the trade return for an elite QB is what can help our poor Texans turn around this rebuild much quicker. This is such an unbelievable cluster f**k, Hollywood couldn't have contrived a better script as perverted as that industry is.
