Or you are just trying to create a whataboutism moment that doesn’t really exist.

    A. Look at the new state laws. Are you really going to sit here with a straight face and tell me the Republican strategy to gain power is NOT making it harder for certain groups to vote?
    B. Biden is not wrong that if Republicans used their new powers at the state level to overturn an election it would be illegitimate. That’s kind of the whole freaking point dude. He never said that the system setup in the US Constitution is fraudulent.

You are just running with a clip that right wingers found that they think they can twist into meaning something else that benefits them by giving them a whataboutism just like they tried when Kamala made the point that because Trump is a known liar, him promoting a vaccine would make people less likely to trust it because you cannot trust him. The way the question was asked created a simple “yes” response which then led to right wing propaganda.

This is example A. Why politicians learn to never give yes or no responses to questions from the media. Right wing propaganda feeds on this type of manipulation and ignorance that hears it without context and just takes it at face value.

Yea his public statement at the time now makes more sense given the context of what was going on behind the scenes.

However Barr shouldn’t get a pass because it’s clear to me that leading up to that moment he was assisting in many other ways.

He made the public statement because he calculated that they werent going to be successful and given his role as AG and historical context of Watergate, it’s likely he’d be the first person to get arrested. So his statement is nothing more than telling on your sibling for breaking a window playing catch inside the house when you were the one who was playing catch with him while he hit the window with the baseball.

Barr saved Trump actually because him saying there was no fraud killed the EO. Had Trump released that EO after White House counsel warning that it’s illegal Trump would definitely have committed a huge crime and if he wasn’t successful it’s much more likely he’d be in jail right now.

Barr has always and will always be the ultimate fixer for the GOP. He did it with Iran Contra. He did it with Mueller, and he might very well have done it with Jan6.

Bill Barr: keeping Republicans out of jail since Iran Contra.

Yes not saying that doesn't mean Barr wasn't very complicit in much of what Trump was doing only that he had reached his limit on what he would do for Trump.

I am sure he is, I am sure he has been a hypocrite numerous times... but this really isn't a good example.

What do you consider the 'current' election system? Is it the system(s) that was/were in place during voting time in 2020?

Or is the current voting system the one in which a number of states have changed or are trying to change the system that was in place during voting time in 2020?

At some point variations of hypocrisy have to mean something.

I mean yeah... he's a freaking politician. Even a white knight like Bernie Sanders displays some level of hypocrisy from time to time. Al Gore lived in a home that was not on renewable energy. It is a reality in life and especially in politics.

However the level of Hypocrisy from a Joe Biden to a Donald Trump or Ted Cruz is like comparing Jeremy Lin to Hakeem Olajuwon.

In this case YOU KNOW damn well that Joe Biden wasn't trying to undermine US elections in any remotely same way that Trump or the GOP in general do. YOU KNOW this because YOU KNOW that when more people vote, Democrats do better in US elections. That's just a fact. So it's counterintuitive to try and make a utterly stupid point that somehow Biden is undermining faith in our elections therefore Trump cannot be criticized for literally trying to overturn an election by coup.

So thank you for exposing yourself as a pure utter hack who nobody should take seriously. Whats funny though is this just shows how the Right is really not that smart. They were soooo quick to be like "OMG... we GOT HIM!!!" in a gaff that they don't realize that discussing the argument means we get to talk more and more about how Trump tried to overturn democracy, and remind people of the facts about Democrats and voting rights.

For the 99th time, Trump made it clear he was overturning the election. He just failed to do. Let's roll the dice again, shall we?

What's so funny about Trump is his letterhead. Save America by locking up that sociopathic liar is more truth than anything he says below it. Propaganda and lies, just like the communist leaders of the past.

You can read it as "Save Trump". In this Conroe's rally, he wanted "the biggest protests we have ever had in Washington, D.C., in New York, in Atlanta". It just so happen that all 3 cities have cases against him. He also called the black prosecutors in these cities "vicious, horrible people... racists and very sick". He is trumping up the race call to save his butt.

Old enough to remember the country music listeners' cancel culture of the Dixie Chicks for speaking out against Bush. Amazing how free speech only works when it is in their favor.
