It’s going to be hilarious if Rockets trade Russ for Russ plus half a Sengun and another FRP

lol this is playing out just like when we traded russ for john wall.
"there's been rumors about a westbrook for wall swap but it is still highly unlikely"... highly unlikely my ass. lakers have no choice unless they want to punt lebron's age 37 season.

This is exactly the same as the Anthony Davis Pelicans deal EXCEPT, the Pelicans didn't want to trade with the Lakers. When they NBA gifted the Pelicans Zion, the Lakers gave up the farm for AD to the Pelicans and they accepted. This time we are more than willing to trade but have all the leverage. Give me that 1st and swaps. No one else will deal with you Everyone on the planet would have traded half their team for AD. Like Harden, anything not bolted down. This is Bron and AD and WALL talking to Rich Paul talking to Rob Pelinka telling him to get this done.

Westbrook’s legacy is taking such a huge hit now that he’s in the LA spotlight playing with Bron

We're getting zero out of Wall. He's taking his ball and going home. He's riding his horse off to the sunset. Other metaphors...

We owe somebody about 65 mil more over the next 16 months. There's no way around it. It could've been Chris Paul. It was Westbrook. We took a 1st accepting that it would be John Wall. No matter who it is, Tilman's paid that contract.

We're getting nothing out of that 65m/16months. If the Lakers want to give us a single 2nd round pick to take on Westbrook instead of Wall, that's a done deal. No negotiations necessary, that's literally free money and I accept.

    ALSO

This is the karma Tilman deserves for being a cheapass early in his ownership. Now he's got to pay off literal dead money for nothing. 1/3 of our cap goes straight to a toilet. People want to incentivize our flushings, that's just terrific.

Tillman wants his Westbrook back. He was ranting about how entertaining westbrick is. This is just a money making draw card move

Sorry, i was shooting off top of my head.. it's actually 2026. 2025 they own their own pick, it's just a swap with new Orleans so they can trade the following year...

Tillman and Harden made it happen. 2 of them were responsible for it don't forget that.

2nd round pick isn't worth helping Lakers get out of Westbrook. Lebron deserves to lie in this bed that he created. THT and a 2nd should be the floor.

    Swap rights might make sense.

We get the better of the Brk or Laker pick in 2027

I think he's more likely than Wall to throw off-court hissy fits and become a distraction to the team. Might even convince some of the younger players to say things like "free heem!"

In hindsight this may be one of the most ridiculous quotes I've ever read from the NBA. ****, not even in hindsight--while it was happening most of us were confused out of our balls/women balls
