The media shouldn't report on this under this context though. We know that this is the PR line that they wanted to use publicly, but we all know that it wasn't an honest attempt at just fact finding to ensure confidence. We know and it's well documented that the goal was to delay to the point where the House would have to vote under the 12th amendment and Republicans would have the majority to overturn the election to Trump. We all know that is the case. It should be reported on as such.

OAN Anchor Assisted Rudy Giuliani on Trump Fake Elector Stunt https://www.thedailybeast.com/oan-h...uliani-on-trump-fake-elector-stunt?ref=scroll
Biden won the election fair and square under the current election system, correct? So he then tries to overhaul the current election system, gets denied, then says this.... "I'm not saying it's going to be legit," Mr. Biden said when asked about the possibility of fraud in the forthcoming elections that will decide the balance of power in Washington. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-60063594 No group of people, and I mean nobody, are more hypocritical than the Democrats.
Trump campaign officials, led by Rudy Giuliani, oversaw fake electors plot in 7 states https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/20/poli...icials-rudy-giuliani-fake-electors/index.html
I'm sure if you show the hypocritical acts of the Democrats and the Republicans there wouldn't be much of an advantage either way.
Except your ignoring that Biden and the Democrats are responding to State Legislatures changing election rules. This line of argument that, "if the election was so fair why is Biden pushing for election changes?" should also apply to the states legislatures. If state legislatures weren't changing election rules the push for federal voting reform likely isn't there.
One of the documents trump and his lawyers tried to have the courts prevent getting to the January 6 commission... https://www.politico.com/news/2022/...that-would-have-seized-voting-machines-527572
Interesting timeline... Two days before this draft executive order attorney general barr resigned. Did barr know and not want to be a party to this conspiracy? trump fired his secretary of defense (esper) a a few weeks before that. And the trump's hand-picked replacement (christopher miller) is the one called out to seize voting machines and prepare an assessment of the 2020 election?
I think there is good evidence that Barr knew Trump was thinking about some extra legal way to stay in power and he wanted nothing to do with it. That he publicly came out and stated there was no substantial fraud in the election showed where his limits with Trump were and he wasn't going to go any further.
Clearly, it was a conspiracy by trump and his subordinates to overturn the legitimate result of a fair election. In plain language, it was a coup attempt by a defeated president to illegally seize power in order to stay in office.
You can almost replace Barr with any other Cabinet members and probably the majority of Congressional Republicans. 99% of them are cowards for not speaking up.
Sorta weird /sad that pence and Barr ended up being the only adults in the room. I'm sure Barr had had enough at that point..who knows I will take it though ..game set match Biden
