this year i think durant is clearly more important than harden. harden just defers too much and the 4th quarters are all durant and harden is having an obvious down year or is starting his decline while durant is leading the league in scoring. last year the nets were 19-17 without harden and a ridiculous 29-7 with harden, and that included a bunch of games without one of durant or irving and at least a few without both. it would be hard to argue harden wasn't the most important last year. with the injury, i guess we can't say who would have been more important for the playoffs.
who cares if you watch the game and saw him choked in the 4th quarter. He had an efficient 5-12 shooting day. I laugh at the people that think he's more important than Kyrie.
harden hasn’t been moving and playing like regular harden tho, so it’s hard to make a full assessment
Remember when we thought CP3 was washed a season after his hamstring injury. Maybe severe hamstring injuries take a year to recover from.
Difference is, CP changed his diet and lifestyle (and probably got some experimental super HGH), haven't heard the same about Harden.
Idk why that one dude keeps saying Kyrie is more important than Harden. Kyrie was nothing in Cleveland, pre-LeBron. He was nothing in Boston and he is nothing in BKN without KD/Harden. Didn't make the playoffs in Cleveland before LeBron, and was a headcase in Boston. Also didn't do anything in his time with the Celtics. I think part of it is, Harden is trying to get teammates involved, because the Nets will need them in the postseason. It's easy to hand the ball off to KD / Kyrie and let them get points, but you can't have the 'others' depend on KD, Kyrie and Harden the whole time. This is even more apparent when one of the big 3 don't play (KD with his current MCL injury, Kyrie with the vaxx status).
well that was only after cp3 threw our title shot away in 2019 by sucking all year and bombing in the playoffs. maybe harden will have a "come to jesus" moment about his conditioning after this year.
Actually harden mentioned that during his covid break he changed his diet. The results have been spectacular. Imagine he did that in Houston during his peake.
I did mental earlier expect a few 30 and 40 points triple doubles till KD returns. 37-11-10 tonight against his old nemesis Spurs. Definitely expect more
Has anyone else noticed Harden has been sprinkling in some midrange? He creates them with such ease, I wish he hadn’t abandoned it
look at the space he creates with such ease…he made 3 last night, and you’d probably have to go back years for the last time he did that…it was to the point where he might only take 3 midrange jumpers for an entire month, let alone make
