Her performance in Girl Interrupted was just Angie acting like herself -- she was so insanely hot though the awards people had to give her some sort of prize.
Finished watching it. I thought it was pretty good. I mean, definitely seems like a "different level" and all these super powered people (who are aliens, robots) been on earth for this whole time and not found out seemed a little weird, but I still enjoyed the monster thing and what not. I thought it was a little jumpy how they would go back to the past for something, then come back to present time, but I never like flashbacks in any movies. It did seem like some stuff might come back. So who knows.
I started watching this, the CGI bad guys are so generic, this reminds of that old game Turok the dinorsaur hunter
I'm giving it a shot, however I don't understand that these super beings one girl has to do sign language I thought super beings aren't handicapped
I watched it the other day over two nights. Thought it was meh. Probably would have been better as a Disney + series to setup the other characters they obviously really cared about long term. I look at the Loki series as a good example of that working well with setting up Kang the conquerer as a big bad for the entire MCU. Characters like this though that are so un-grounded in flawed human characteristics are usually best served as minor characters or villains in something like Guardians of the Galaxy. I don't think anyone would care to watch a 3 hour movie about Kurt Russell's character in the 2nd movie where he was similar to these characters but was the bad guy. Thor is only interesting in the fact that he's a failure where none of these god like characters have any real motivations that mean anything to the audience. That's a long winded way of saying I really don't think this movie worked even if it was enjoyable to watch in parts because of the actors.
Agree 100% about this being better as a series, I think I mentioned that one of the problems it had was that it needed more screen time to flesh out the story and characters in my original feedback review. I think this was green-lit before the MCU shows were conceptualized.
