hes not top 5 but hes elite...perhaps top 20-30 which is very fluid...not really watching a lot of games recently....he lacks playing time so its hard to tell...certainly hes amongst the best players just depending on PT, teammates and coaches what numbers he puts up...

1 on 1 he can take on anyone and beat him and only few guys would give him a real fight....

imho you can replace the second best player on almost any 1-8 seeded teams right now with sengun and their wins column wouldn't suffer

 

They were losing the series till davis got hurt and the clips with kawhi would’ve destroyed them, you can’t possibly think the suns had a shot vs kawhi clips….(then against you spew a lot of nonsense so who knows)

Did anyone post a list of "franchise like" players not named Ben Simmons (SINCE HE IS NOT A FRANCHISE WORTHY PLAYER)?

The only players I can come up with MAYBE are:
AD (but I think LA will hang on to him)
Harden (but that seems HIGHLY unlikely)
Kyrie (but he is a franchise killer who is not vaxxed)
Dame (all depends on Stone's long term plan for KPJ)

I don't even like the word Franchise with these guys. Maybe Dame and Harden but not sure what is up with AD and you definitely wouldn't want to "mortgage the franchise" for Kyrie.

Long post longer, who are the guys that could be available you consider franchise or max worthy?

 

more under the radar guys that could fit the bill and be available are:

John Collins
Jalen Brown
Sabonis or Turner
Brandon Ingram

I do think we have enough tradable salary and picks to make anything happen. I would rather wait until the summer to make a big move like that, if at all. I want to see how JG, sengun, and KPJ finish the season, and I want to see who we draft, before possibly burying them behind a star at their position.

 

And if CP3 doesn't get hurt the Rockets would have beat the Warriors.

Why does it matter if Kyrie is vaxxed or not? This is Texas. Plus vaxxed players steal still getting sick and missing games. The only franchise killer on that team is Hardhead.

Kyrie is one of the all-time headcases. Maybe Crazy Ron or Rodman top him but he makes Mad Max look like Merely Competitive Max. Like, we're already saddled with the corpse of John Wall man. Why double down? Kyrie is toast and it's because he chose to be a grade-A weirdo. The most thoughtful of prayers to the team that's desperate enough to offer Kyrie F. Irving a minimum contract.

The league is in transition. The superstars of the modern game are old and aging. Those in their prime are suffering from a game that's made too much money propping up guys who are closer to retirement than beginning. Giannis, Jokic, Embiid...these guys should be more heralded than they are honestly. IMO hanging back (paying off John Wall for the sake of the league) and investing in the next wave is the play. Doncic, Young and Morant are leading the way for the next era. Jalen Green could easily be a superstar of that next wave, that kid can absolutely catch nuclear level fire. KPJ can do it. Sengun can do it. Hell, Josh might do it.

People legit need to relax and see the big picture. Yeah it sucks that we're losing but if there were ever a time to regroup this is it.

I'm thinking that's who probably will be available and who Stone will try to trade for.
