Sengun is already better than kawhi...

the other thing, which FA will want to come here seeing how they pissed all over sengun?

which rookie will want to work out for rockets predraft now that they saw how bad they treat their own?

Mobley and others were spot on refusing to workout for rockets...they knew the situation here very well

Theres no ifs about it. Jalen Green is coming along just fine. No need to worry about that. He is keeping pace with a few of the greats so far. Not saying he will become Kobe but Morant is a very realistic comparison. Just know he'll be even better next season once he gets his consistency down.

I think he will pan out, but patience is not a virtue of CF. Still, even if we hadn't picked him, he would have gone top 5, so it's a gamble and can either make a GM look great or look foolish. Either way, I agree - it's on Stone.

I'm glad they are looking for a franchise worthy player. Makes me feel at ease that they have a plan. That's a good plan.

you mean people will flock to play for houston seeing how they pissed all over the guy who hustles, draws fouls at insane rate, extremely efficient, has a great handles, passing and court vision, is a walking highlight reel and is their most skilled player?
    YEAH RIGHT

i am not a troll just your basketball, and otherwise, superior player

you have to wonder who they gonna choose... remmber john wall was favorite silus player... victor olabricko as well....benching alpi? call me doubter but i suspect their choice will be a player of suspect quality...it will be a guard/wing, he will be black, with flashy handles, kinda inneficient chucker but with a great hairstyle and heavily marketable....

    Why?

From what I read we already have one in Kevin 'is this a throwable missile' Porter Jr?

Another strange move by Tilman. Doesn't he have a heart?

I tend to call it a philosophical disagreement, rather than an understanding on a superficial level but insults is a way most people get their points across these days, so I understand.

I never said Embid couldn't function in the open court but because of his skill set, a coach would do him a disservice by keeping him on the parameter, similar to how Silas play Wood.

Because he's so effective in the interior, it blocks off the other players who are less effective from the outside; i.e, Ben Simmons. I think Simmons will be more effective in a open court system; GS, Dal or Hou.

lol jalen green is nothing like that, hes quite opposite of efficiency, court vision, drawing fouls at insane rate, skills etc

all he knows is chuck a 3 pointer early in shotclock, run fast and dunk...

Ok my champion. It's all good.

    Jalen Green 14.5 (TOV%) [ mostly vs starters ]
Sengun 20.5 (TOV%) [ mostly not vs starters ]....lol

Is it possible we are interpreting the 'seeking franchise centrepiece' statement the wrong way?

Is it potentially a broad statement to other GMs to stop trying to get future picks from us for middling talent. Ir dump players on us for 2nd rounders.

We are invested in finding a franchise player and are happy to go to the draft in a high spot rather than take on awkward contracts who might make us somewhat better, but cost draft position. Also saying we would rather not pay picks to get a semi star who doesn't get the job done.

I wanted Jalen Green. I have high hopes for him but he’s shown nothing to be compared to Morant as a rookie and it’s even harder to fathom him being as good as what Morant is today in his 3rd year. Morant put up 18/7/4 on 48% shooting as a rookie. JG is far off from that.

I never said trade ALL their assets. I said, Wall, EG, this yrs top pick, top 2 protected. The Rockets have (4) 19yr old players. Too many rookies is not good, you need a mixture.

I only see 2 players in the draft worth having. Why waste another salary slot on a player who won't play? Can you say, Garuba?
