It really depends how healthy Jalen Green is at this point. The kid will score! At this Point I just want him to focus on building the right muscles for longevity.
If playing time is there, might be good chance of Jalen Green putting up good numbers. Two contingent factors: 1) staying healthy. (Zion, missed a good chunk season, so then Ja became the runaway favorite) 2) team bad record. This could hurt Green. Say we lose a lot first half, and tank for 2nd half. If another rookie candidate on a mid team, pushed his team into a play-in, even if that person's stats is slightly lower than Green, a winning record could sway voters.
At this stage I am leaning towards Cade. He's not the athlete that Green is but overall a better player at this point in time. He plays defense, better ball IQ, makes people around him better and puts his teammates in a position to score. The only fault i see in cade is his flat shot. It might take Green couple of years to have that level of IQ, but nonetheless I am very excited to watch him play. Certainly expect Sengun to be in that conversation later in the year.

Probably. The narrative that he was NBA ready would be dead, but even as a raw athletic prospect he's probably still taken in the top 5.... though probably not #2
I think so. Mobley would go 1st unanimously, then I would think Barnes, Cunningham, and Wagner in that order. Giddey got star potential but looking at his numbers this year compared to Green's: Green: FG%: 39.7% 3PT: 30.7% FT%: 82.4% PPG: 15 APG: 2.2 ToPG: 2.5 Giddey: FG: 40.6% 3PT: 28.9% FT%: 68.1% PPG: 11.4 APG: 6.3 ToPG: 2.9 It's not THAT much better than Green's to where you can say Josh is the definitive player at 5 as an argument can be made for either one. Giddey definitely has playmaking abilities but I think Green will become the better scorer.

I think the Rookie ranking will look like this end of year 1. Mobley 2. Cade 3. Barnes 4. Wagner 5. Green, Giddy the rest I am hoping Green can over take Wagner, but he will unlikely be top 3 end of year.
