KG loved to bully smaller/shorter players. Then he tried his tactics on the wrong cat and all he could do is just stand there and take it.
Nice! And this is Justin Bieber and his wife. https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-pro...ehearsal-backgrid-1569887567.jpg?resize=980:* And nobody has never ever assumed that Bieber is anything but badazz :
So you don't think the good looking guys who get the hottest girls are "alphas?" It's an interesting take, reeks more of jealousy than any valid evaluation skills, especially when you consider what an "alpha" tends to signify in nature (ie. the one in the group who gets the girls.)
Strong, young women who also exudes a tad masculinity with the NBA athlete BF who is metrosexual and embraces girly habits. Perfect combo. What could go wrong.
NewAge is just jealous of Jalen Green’s hair and looks because he’s built like melted ice cream and his hairline’s been looking like the McDonald’s logo since high school imagine being this preoccupied and obsessed with how a player on the team looks and dresses
Haha, this is getting waaaaay way way off topic. But since you asked. The best parallel we have in nature is with our closest cousins the apes: the gorillas, but most relevantly the chimpanzees and the bonobos. Male chimpanzees are aggressive, and "toxic" with more muscle mass, similar in that regard to male gorillas. Male bonobos are very androgynous (i.e. Jalen green / Justin Bieber types). There is a lot of other interesting literature on the differences in societal organization between chimpanzees and bonobos and the relationship between the sexes of both species (which are BTW these species are 99% identical genetically). You should look it up if you find this topic interesting. So what makes male chimpanzees more toxic than the bonobos? Current theory is that chimpanzees often encounter and are being harassed by gorillas in their habitat (which is North of the Congo river), while the bonobos live much more peacefully south of the Congo. The parallel to human society that one can reasonably draw is this: "toxic" masculinity with its brand of aggressiveness and brutishness is something that develops when faced with physical adversity and conflict. In our modern society in the West, we have been living without major wars and harsh brutal adversity for decades now, which probably can explain the feminization for the standards for maleness, if you take the parallel from the apes. That's fine. However, the game of basketball is an adversarial competition between teams in close contact. It's very different from synchronized swimming, for example. It's a peaceful conflict with rules. So the classical male traits: aggressiveness, toughness, physicality have correlated with success in the past, especially for the Top Dogs. I should stress again, that the future may not be like that, so we will have to see how things develop. Many sports are changing the rules to deemphasize physicality and combativeness and to emphasize skill. That's not a bad thing. Soccer, for example is now much more attractive to watch than when I was a kid. That's why I have been saying, Jalen may be a trailblazer, but some skepticism is still natural...
Reminds me of the guys in highschool who obsessively hated all the jocks and cool kids because they actually got interest from the ladies...
ooops... I don't know how this happened here, but it looks like a lot of posters here are getting actually obsessed with NewAge... Guys, my ethnicity, looks, hairline, success with teh ladies, none of this is what this message board is about. get real.
There will be peace on the board, once the infidel Rockets fans acknowledge that there is only one God and Jalen Green is his prophet.
To move the conversation away from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.... I think what makes me most optimistic about Jalen's potential to be a top 20 player is what he can build off of his elite first step and elite quickness. If he can turn his elite first step into more efficient drive and dish ability, then he starts becoming a good playmaker. From there he just keeps building and tweaking his game. The kid has barely spent any time in a professional strength program and, while I don't expect him to turn into Anthony Edwards or Derrick Rose, I think he can add some strength to better finish through contact and contort mid air.
This is why we can't have nice things - everybody keeps losing their ****. It's one thing to praise or criticize Green, but it's crazy to hate on each other over an NBA player.
I usually don't side with Newage, but he wasn't bringing up these dumb topics. Yall derailed it wanting to talk about dumb **** like hair and stuff when there's a thread for that.
Sir, this is an internet forum of which you are not an administrator, so I feel completely comfortable telling you to ignore my posts and push on if you don't like them, but I (or one of the Clutchfans administrators ) will decide when I end it. It's obvious from his last few posts that he hasn't learned anything... still think he isn't being "unreasonable"? If so then I add you to the not having a clue crew. @NewAge - You've posted numerous times now that you think Jalen is feminine based on his appearance and play style. You use tropes like "alpha" and "dog, or dogs edge" to try and justify the fact that you don't like the way Jalen looks or acts. Before you say that's not true, let me ask you this... do you think making it to the NBA is tough? Can just anyone (man) do it? No it takes toughness, dogged dedication/tenacity, some discipline and a whole lot of talent. The odds of making it to the NBA are 1,900 to 1 (https://scholarshipstats.com/pro-odds). Those are some TOUGH odds. He night end and night out goes up against guys bigger and stronger than him, finds ways to produce points while taking some pretty hard fouls and still comes back for more. That's tough, that's being tenacious... you know that dog like mentality you're looking for. He is an elite athlete playing at the highest level of one of the toughest professional sports out there... He's already an ALPHA and doing things that you obviously cannot do or you wouldn't be here on this forum (you'd be busy competing with or against him). There are things to criticize the kid for (turnovers is one that irritates me) but calling him feminine and then trying to make some correlation to that and his success as a basketball player is just dumb. I'm done now.
The facts that he believes that sht, and uses it as if it's real criticism on green as a player is the connection.
