I'd rather have KJ straight up. Poku is still in the G league in his second season, while KJ is a rotational player. Factor in Durant's new injury and it you're trading a potential 22nd pick and KJ, for what was the 17 pick with almost 40% of his rookie contract expired. Presti is so pick crazy, Poku may be able to be had for an early 2nd rounder, I think either of what you're offering is an overpay by itself.
I don't see how it helps Cleveland. Love has been playing very well as of late. If I was Cleveland, I'd take my chances with Rondo and Love over Wall.
This is the one I am most on board with. Sac is desperate and Wood and Porter Jr would both be happier in Cali, even though it will probably ruin their careers.
You might be right but from the outside looking in the loss of Rubio and Sexton really hurt them. Love is playing well for them and is having a bounce back year but they are seriously hurting in the backcourt and need another playmaker to pair along with Garland. Cleveland isn’t trading anything and getting back help for this year’s playoff run. Again you might be right in Cleveland saying no but I think this is a win for everyone.
Rubio and a 1st will net something. I'd consider Gordon for that combo, though I'd like to get a little more.
I really think Memphis is being overlooked as a trade option. Why? Because (1) they’re obviously having a great season and (2) they have multiple FRP potentially this year. for 2022 they will have their own, Utahs, and likely Lakers. @BimaThug or @Clutch correct me if I’m reading it wrong as it’s somewhat confusing but I believe LAL pick goes to Memphis if it’s 11-30 or to NO if it’s 1-10? assuming it’s the former, the Rockets could offer EG to them for salary plus say the best 2 FRP they end up with. They also have Zaire Williams and the GSW 2024 first round pick. but the real prize could be that Lakers pick. Yeah it’s hard to imagine they get much worse than this 7/8 seed they already are. AD will eventually come back. But they also have the 3rd toughest remaining strength of schedule. https://www.tankathon.com/remaining_schedule_strength at the same time it’s not hard to see the Grizzlies parting with it. At this point they don’t really need more mid teens picks. EG wound be fantastic on that squad imo. Just my two cents.
Agree with the ideas that Cle makes a ton a sense for EG with Rubio and a pick or picks (2nds). Also eyeing Washington in a Wood for Hachimura/Bryant deal. Just think those two deals are the kind that get done.
I like this trade, but the Simmons trade is gonna have to move Tobias too from what's being reported. When the trade eventually occurs, it'll be a 3 or 4 team deal, and the Sixers will be getting a bigger upgrade at PF given all the good PFs on the market.
I think it's been too late since Kuminga dropped 25 on the Raptors around a month ago. He doesn't feel pressure because of the veterans.
