Hahaha Green 18 shots. Sengun 6. Get this utter clown sitting on the sideline out of here. Hahaha. Most blatant form of tanking I may have ever seen. Spamming Green and chaining Sengun down.
While I don‘t disagree with you, that I would like to see him more involved in the offense - it was his first game back from injury and he was limited to 13 minutes. 1 shot every two minutes seem about right (would be 18 shots per 36 minutes). So wait with that criticism until he is fully healthy again.
Oh the confession by projection. I was wondering why you seem to dislike our most talented rookie, it seems I have my answer. Yikes. You might want to work on that.
and the idiot made alperen sengun, an offensive system unto himself, into a mere 3 point shooter bahhahaahahahahahah
lol we saw healthy sengun getting as much as 5 minutes a game why you defend this idiot? are you his mother or a cousin? cmon now this clown has sengun and all we got is this? and its been like this from summer league, scrubs isoing and icing sengun out and I was told its summer league it doesnt matter..... yeah where are those apologists now? i would like to know when s time when it really matters? sengun can get you to playoffs just like harden, hes an entire offensive system unto himslef and this clown makes him into a 3 pt chucker... lolololol keep defending the worst coach in nba
So Omer Yurtseven can play 25-30 minutes a night on a contender but Sengun has to “earn his minutes” and I’m supposed to be happy to see Sengun play 15 minutes a night? (Because Daniel Theis is a pro or Giannis is playing or whatever bullshit excuse the coach comes up with). And save the “but but but fouls!” excuse. Spoiler
Only reasonable excuse for sengun low mins is either foul trouble or conditioning. Silas just has a weird hard on for wood, theis and his vets. Personally I rather see sengun b on the court making rookie mistakes than whatever vet silas prefers. We still gonna lose might as well give our rookies more experience. The reasoning rookie needs to earn their mins nonsense, should only applies to winning team. Sengun obviously would b in RoY conversation if he was playing normal mins.
He actually does not get more minutes when he does not foul. It is his conditioning, which is a reasonable concern, but I think they are over concerned about it to a level that I have never seen in the nba. And the coaching staff thinks that his defensive weaknesses hurt the team, which again is a reasonable (over) concern but no reason not to play him in the current state of Rockets. It also ignores his offensive contributions and takes away valuable time to develop him. There is not one more rookie in his skill level that plays the kind of minutes he does, not even on loaded and competing teams. I don't think Silas will ever get a head coach job again and the 'he is the head coach of an nba team, he has to know better than you' crowd will have to retire that argument.
The excuse defensive weakness is laughable especially looking at how wood plays D. Only thing that concerns me now is his foul trouble, I don't mind him trying his best on D fouling, but Silas gonna use that to bench him. I rather watch sengun actually play heavy starters mins, run offense through him and only take him out when he's on his fifth foul. It's more understanding if we are playing the vets heavy mins to build up trade value to get rid of them. Let's hope that's reason and sengun mins will rise after trade deadline but I doubt it.
