So did the AP only tweet about record COVID cases for Florida, or is this cherry-picking?

It's in the tweet, but the AP article that states that it "recently" decided it would avoid emphasizing case counts of a particular country or state came out on January 12. The article on the record COVID cases for Florida was published in December 24.

So, I would think AP should be accused of cherry picking if it released something similar to the Florida article around January 12 or afterwards, but not before.

I used to like The Hill as a news source but it's recently been getting more and more partisan.

 

I have a friend in Quebec and she says that since the government there said that unvaccinated people can't go to bars or dispensaries that numbers for vaccination have shot up.

 

The humor fails. For the joke to work, it would have to be agreed that most American people should be able to make medical decisions for themselves and that it would be common sense for most Americans to make medical decisions for themselves.

When having surgery, it's best to let medical professionals and surgeons make those decisions. When undergoing cancer treatment, it works better if oncologists and educated, trained, medical professionals make the decisions about what to do.

The idea that most Americans can make medical decisions for themselves is ridiculous.

The idea that the Biden Administration can make medical decisions for the people is even more ridiculous. Thanks be to the Supreme Court who struck down this unconscionable, unconstitutional, and unhealthy regulation.
