I was on Dreamshake a few times earlier this season, and guess who I saw doing the usual anti-Jalen Green agenda damn near word for word, copy and paste? It was hilariously sad
With the amount of step back 3's Green freely takes, it's probably unrealistic that he will ever hit 40% for the season. Players like Harden, Gordon, Booker etc don't even hit that mark and they are better shooters fundamentally. what he needs to be is consistent on catch and shoot open 3's, those will anchor your offense. If you can also hit step back 3's that's a bonus
I'd argue that simping for one of the worst players on the Rockets is considerably worse than merely having a rational take about the rookie....but I get that love is blind for people like you.
Exactly my thoughts. He can achieve 40%+ on wide open/catch and shoot 3's, but Green will likely take tougher 3's mixed with easy 3's as his 3 point shot improves and he becomes more confident in his full offensive arsenal.
I don't doubt that's what you "think". Only the most ridiculous Jalen Green fans could think that when I criticize both starting guards, it amounts to "simping for KPJ". You crazy kids see any criticism of the object of your obsession as some kind of support for the players you blame all of Green's flaws on. Carry on though, you do provide quite a bit of unintentional comedy with your schtick.
We were at the game, he did not have his best game, but honestly, I didn't realize it, as he was playing fine all over the court, even though he missed shots, they were for the most part in the flow of the offense and good shots we want him to take. And in the end the team won, so ups and downs happen when you are 19......he will probably come out scoring in the next game. DD
No, I'll leave you with your delusions, they are hilarious. At some point, Rockets fans will run out of patience for Jalen Green fans, but till then, go nuts.
Green continues to improve. Needs an offseason to focus on core strength and adding a few lbs. Man defense should turn average when he matures physically. Admittedly, his help defense and double teaming are rough rough right now. Offensively, just a ton of potential and he seems to be incrementally improving as a passer and rebounder game to game.
at some point, Rockets fans will get tired of Jalen Green haters/KPJr simps, but continue on little bobby
@Reeko, bobby got you, man lol usually people just ignore him. I've been telling @Bobbythegreat to type in italics for months now trolling for a reaction so he can bait someone to argue endlessly with.
It depends. George came in the league shooting 30% on 3s on less than 3 attempts and he's had multiple 40% seasons since. However, what's telling is PG shot 90% on free throws during his sophomore college season. I don't know if he'll be one of the greatest scorers of all time, all I do know is he has the assets to become a great scorer. In addition, I don't think 30 points on 40% is going to be extraordinary in the next 5 years, especially since Green is basically born in the 3 point evolution era. That'll just be Green having a 60% TS on 30 points, which is something a lot of NBA players are doing or are close to doing it. Zach Lavine for example, was a 27 ppg guy on 42 3PT% just last season, and a 26 ppg guy on 41 3PT% this season, with a 60+ TS%
Let’s check at end of season if they are over 40% There’s still very few high volume shooters that average over 40%
I just want silas to create more plays where Jalen green is gong down hill. It's really frustrating when you see him do stuff like this then the next play he is in the corner.
You know @Bobbythegreat is constantly checking to see if his bait has gotten a response from @Reeko ..... @Reeko posts a response and all the trolls can smell it and coming out for a feeding frenzy....
