fell asleep at the start of the 4th Rockets actually won huh…I’m gonna need to finish the rest of the game later or just watch the condensed highlights on YouTube because I am pleasantly surprised
Pop is the GOAT coach, and his team is just 15-26 and only 4 games better than the Rockets just goes to show u that talent matters far more than coaching…a good coach can make a difference, but most of the time it comes down to the talent that’s on the roster
Loved Jae'Sean trying not to bust out laughing with the "oh Lord, here we go" smile during that response.
He is not the Goat coach. I think you at least need to go back to back at least once to be in that conversation.
Yep for sure. He is only 21 and has oodles of talent. People treat him as if he is a 26 year old finished product. Fact is he is playing a new position that takes time to grow in to. He has a new running mate in Green that he has to learn to play off each other. He can be a starting shooting guard for any team in the league, a combo guard. Once he gets his shooting back towards 40-42 percent shooting he will be fine. We are also 7-6 in the past 13 games he has played in.
The Lakers, Celtics, Hawks and Trailblazers are all very talented teams and have only managed to have .500 and below records. Lebron James apparently is the GOAT and still cant manage to be on an above .500 team. Goes to show you that you can have all the talent in the world but you need the right coach to bring it together.
I hope we can sign him for one more year. We have a tendency to develop young players then trade them off. At least Gordon is already experienced and putting up points like no other on this team. We need his threat from beyond the arc.
So if a coach had won 8 rings for example, but none of them B2B, he couldn’t be the GOAT coach? Seems weird to me
All the talent? Lol, Celtics and Blazers have sorry rosters. The Lakers have no AD, a bunch of old guys, and Westbrick. The Hawks are nothing special either roster wise, so Idk why you’re trying to bring those teams up as some example.
McHale was a trash coach, but had Harden so he coached multiple 50+ win teams and even made a conference finals. Talent matters far more than coaching Silas would be coaching the team towards their 2nd straight playoff appearance if he had prime Harden and the pre-trade Rockets rosters regardless of how good or bad he is as a coach.
