I bet Lillard, Beal, and Simmons all stay put.

****ing OKC going to have two lottery picks this summer. Two chances at landing top picks.

Imagine Giddey / SGA / Dort (and two outta three of Smith / Banchero / Holmgren) as your starting 5, moving forward.

Think the Clippers would be interested in WALL?
    Wall - Kawhi - George
could be a force for next year

I have scoured all the teams and there are very few 2 team deals that I can see happening. It seems the only real asset that makes sense for the Rockets is future draft capital. I think having future restricted free agents is too risky. I think getting a 1st or 2nd year player doesn't work either because we would have to pay almost the whole team their non-rookie contracts in one summer.

I would be fine taking picks 2 or 3 years into the future. One deal that works is the Rockets trading for Tobias Harris for Gordon and Wood. We could be the third team in the deal and take assets from the other two teams, most likely in a bigger deal for Ben Simmons. OKC is the only other team that I could see trying to do the same, but they have mostly small contracts.

It would hurt taking that extra year from Harris, but that would be our first season free of Wall, so he could be one of the biggest expiring contracts in the league. Maybe take the assets of from the trade this year and Harris and try to upgrade with whoever the unhappy superstar is then. If not, you still have 32 million coming off the books at the end of the year.

I think we'll be disappointed about what we can get for Gordon and Wood. We always overrate how much our players are worth to other teams (I think all fans do this). No one wants Wall so he stays.

Gordon may get a LATE first round pick and a matching contract or contracts. I don't know if we'll get a good enough offer to trade Wood. I wouldn't make a bad trade just to get rid of him.
