Nothing is less reliable than actual video footage right? Am I supposed to bring him in front of you and tell him to talk? Remember when he read off "end of quote" from his teleprompter? C'mon man.
yeah but DD can identify complete strangers as stupid people and diagnose them medically as mentally unfit
I never claimed DJT to be a good speaker either, it's ok y'all, you don't have to look backwards every time somebody criticizes something about the current President. Here and now...he sucks at putting together coherent and well articulated speech.
The political cartoon specifically mentions "Government Oppression". Further in the cartoon are shown mask wearing, vaccination including booster, hand sanitizer and someone reading a paper saying "Vax Passport" something that we don't actually have in the US. Now do you believe that those are "government oppression" or "over the top pointless measures"? If not what was the point of your response?
The problem I see is that folks talk about Biden's mental acuity and rarely bring up Trump's unintelligent rambling. So folks that say Biden's mental acuity should prevent him from being President, should hold the same belief about Trump.
Good to know. Now I actually agree that we will come to terms with COVID and believe that is already happening. My point is that the measures we are seeing especially the ones in the cartoon are not "Government Oppression" in most cases these are done on a voluntary basis. When I landed the other night my friend took me to a bar. That is a far cry from Amsterdam where bars are closed and Singapore where I would've been required to check in with the government run tracing system upon entry. In the MN we're not close to the restrictions that were in place in March 2020 and there have been no official calls to return to that time. Also just to note that vaccines for COVID didn't exist in March 2020 and while not stopping all infections are showing that they do reduce the severity of the disease.
Biden certainly does ramble, mangle words, make gaffes and say dumb things. It's not close though with the last President. Since we're criticizing Biden for talking about windmills let's not forget this gem.
A man that is a career politician should be way better at articulation and clear and strong public speaking than a brash businessman with zero experience holding political office. For all the things DJT was purportedly bad at, Biden should be better at, but he's not, often times he's worse.
What specifically is he bad at compared to Trump? Turmp is better at not pausing and stuttering. But when it comes to coherent thoughts, Trump is definitely the worst president of all time at that. The problem with Trump is that in one run on thought he blurts he'll somehow involve Rosie O'Donnell, nuclear arms and how he's the best deal maker ever. There is no conference. He'll never complete a thought and go on some odd tangent about some celebrity he has a grip with during a conversation about Covid or trade deals. I have a feeling that a lot of low IQ Trump supporters see Trump not pausing or stuttering as a sigh of intelligence and ignore the part where he can't finish a thought. Trump's version of a stutter is just completely jumping topic mid thought.
You seriously believe the difference between the two is wide? There are plenty of examples of Trump's incoherence. But, he was proud to be able to pass a dementia test. He also noted he did so well the doctors were 'surprised'. Think about that comment for a bit. Anyway here is more fun reading. Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.
For struggling for years with a speech impediment Biden is a fairly good public speaker. People understand him, and his positions fine. On the scale of voters caring or not giving a sh$t his speech quality is about a 1.2 on the scale of 1 to 10. The fact that you guys act as though it's number 11 really does speak to how hard he is for you guys to criticize. And I could care less about Trump's speaking abilities too. I mean it's laughable at times, but what I care about mostly is... you know... not trying to overturn elections, fomenting racist division, giving tax breaks to billionaires while taking away tax benefits that helped me, stacking the courts with partisan hacks who are taking away basic human rights, installing cabinet members of areas of government they want to tear down (see Betsy Devos/Louis DeJoy, etc.) and overall high level corruption at all levels of the government. So if you want to b**** about Biden's speech impediment that's fine. But when that's all you got, it just speaks to the overall strength of his policies and the policies of the Democratic party. ....or it just speaks to the overall lack of sophistication of any real ideas from Republican voters who care about nothing else but personal attacks and stupid culture wars.
No. 11?? Bahahahahaha, boy nobody puts too much importance on that. Record inflation, Afghan disaster, poor border security, gas prices, poor employment (for actual laid off professionals, not shift workers), supply issues, etc. etc. etc. are way more important, although I like how libs like to just skip right over those as if his administration is successful. He has succeeded at nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Believe me, I wish Biden's only flaw was that he sounds like somebody took an ice pick to his frontal lobe when he tries to force out sentences. Unfortunately, his flaws as a President are much worse, and much more serious than that.
I think your first paragraph is exactly why no genuine economic reform will ever happen in this country and eventually wealth inequality will reach a tipping point where violence will eventually occur. Our voters judge presidents by month to month economic numbers which I'm confident our msm has conditioned us to do. Therefore wanting policy that invests in citizens like early childhood education will be seen as a failure because the benefits of those policies occur 20 years down the road. If I frame that type of brainwashing as being done by our msm neo-liberal elites maybe you'll be more receptive to the notion that it's a bad way to judge presidents and their policies.
