Yeah it's called basketball. Nothing wrong with getting Jalen better looks by good team passing. Everything isn't ISO based. jeeeez

Sengun, Kj, are the only ones setting proper screens.

Link? Pretty sure Suggs was the most NBA ready guard by the experts....

As bad as we are, it's a shame that the coaching staff hasn't developed any real chemistry between Sengun and Green. Those are our two guys. I know they've been hurt but Silas insists on only playing Jalen next to KPJ and Wood, the two most selfish players on the team.

Imagine the insanity if Suggs was on this team instead? It would be complete melt down mode around here.

Yeah, he's "only" getting just under 13 shots per game, clearly they are "freezing him out", why isn't he taking 20 shots per game? It's just not fair, they are clearly setting him up for failure.

Gotta love ridiculous player only fans.

Why wouldn't he have simps just like Jalen Green does making excuses for him? How would it be any different really?

KPJ had 8 assists last game and would have had at least 12 if his teammates would have hit the wide open shots he set up. Wood is the real problem, because he can’t set a pick and mostly leaks out instead of going hard to the rim. It’s hard to throw a lob when your big is sitting out on the 3 point line. Trade Wood, start Sengun and use Theis off the bench and both KPJ and Green will be more effective.

Hopefully Wood will be gone in a week or so and maybe they'll give Sengun some burn. That would help the defense a bit, but right now the Rockets simply have too many players that are either completely incompetent defensively, don't care enough to try to play defense, or both.

There's nothing you can do about guys like Green who are simply lost defensively, they have no clue where they need to be or what they should be doing.....and he doesn't even really try on top of that. You can kind of make up for someone that completely incompetent if everyone else is good....but there are only a few competent defenders on the entire roster.....and even some of them have inconsistent effort.

There's just no easy answer for this team. They have no franchise caliber player, they don't have competent coaching, and several of the players need to be traded ASAP.

I agree Green needs more touches. That’s on the coach. They are the ones planting him in the corner and not running any plays for him.

Wood has effectively given up on this team. He's out there to stat pad and try to get traded. Once that happens it will open up the door for Sengun - who himself has a ways to go also, but at least you allow the core to grow together and develop team chemistry. Thies was a waste of time - Stone needs to take that L and move him also.

.....which is why his efficiency has been so much better than it was to start. Given that he's essentially been one of the worst defenders in NBA history since his return, the increased efficiency caused by limiting his touches has made him less of a net negative than he was to start the season.

We now have some positive things to talk about due to him embracing more of an off ball/transition scorer role. You should be happy about that.

Half season passed, nothing is changed.

Jalen Green still can’t get many touches, even can’t play 4th quarter.

Wood still can’t set a real screen for his teammates.

Bobby was convinced Deshuan Watson was an awful QB early in his Texan's career. He isn't very good at picking out talent.

I don't have an issue with him. I have an issue with his delusional player only fans who are throwing a b**** fit about his minutes when he's given the 2nd most minutes on the team and his shots when he's getting the 2nd most shots on the team.....you crazy kids are always looking for someone else to blame for his shortcomings as a rookie.

I remember when Lin fans blamed Harden for "usurping" his role as the PG....you guys are really no different.

Right now, Green has accepted more of a proper role on offense, and it has led to his efficiency numbers skyrocketing.....and you guys still complain.

Green is one of the worst defenders the NBA has ever seen which is a large contributor to the Rockets getting blown out every other night.....and you guys complain that he's not on the court during garbage time to pad his stats.

I mean, take a step back and look at how ridiculous you guys are being.

Yeah i agree. The lineup with KPJ starting isn’t working. The parts aren’t matching and the picture gets clearer every game. What i see in the Rockets offense is a lot of indecision and wasted action. The offense just isn’t smooth. How many times have you seen KPJ hesitate to make a pass to an open corner or wing 3? Or being patient and wait for plays to develop finding cutters or attacking to set up team mates. Instead he holds the ball in a 1-1 at the wing or top of the key dribble drives that goes no where then he pivots is crowded by 2 players. Then he does something dumb like make a jump pass that results in a turnover or shovels a pass to Wood in the paint also resulting in a turnover. Wasted actions.

And when he has the lane or an opening he either dishes it off or makes a layup more difficult then it needs to be often missing. His FG% at the rim is .545 and 3-10 ft is .178. This isn’t bad it’s terrible. It’s frustrating for fans to watch this. I enjoy the Gordon pt guard lineups and i think Green and Gordon should start together with Porter coming off the bench along with JC. I actually don’t think Porter should get much playing time. His play is just too erratic and too inconsistent and a big reason why this team doesn’t win.
