    “Can’t teach height” may be a cliche, but Carlton is another example of its accuracy. He changes the game just standing there almost. Also, Sampson is so good at getting his guys to play defense.

    The D plays against anybody, if Sampson could just figure out (this is the same problem with Beard at UT) how to turn the defense into easy offense, they'd be damn-near unbeatable.

    Nolan Richardson "40-minutes-of-hell" type stuff.

    That defense is impressive. Raises hell, and hopes for our tournament run.

    One small side note: Fabian White has developed a really nice form on that three-ball, when he shoots it in rhythm.

    Keep in mind hes technically a 1st year player freshman. With the covid year, Shead had no role last year. I'm pretty intrigued how Shead progresses but he was brought here to be the pg of the future.
