That's it he is officially a Boo Boo Brother..... I mean the org is literally tanking and giving guys rest - Sengun needs to play to learn how not to foul. DD
agreed. Sengun is not the greatest Defender but i rather watch him foul out trying to play D than whatever Wood is doing every game
if anyone was a Sengun stan they should do the on/off numbers with his unit on the bench during this absence.
going back 3 decades it's the same bs every time w/ this organization. if they say day-to-day u can bet it'll be weeks. week-to-week = a month minimum
JGreen never had a chance to be ROY, there are better players out there: Wagner, Giddey, Barnes, Cunningham, Mobley,.. The best for Jalen is to be selected to All rookie first team which seems not probable nowadays. Alpi had a chance to be Roy in another organization but certainly not under Silas management. He still has a slim chance to be in All rookie first team if given 25+ minutes after all-star break but quite likely won't get that minutes and won't be selected. If Bam and Dedmon become healthy and Yurt7' minutes limited, Alpi might have a chance to be in the list. Hope JGreen and Alpi might find places in All rookie second team. The team is managed very badly and the duo might find themselves completely out also.
Green certainly still has a chance to win rookie of the year. Had he played more or even gotten the ball more last night he’d already be the top scoring rookie in the NBA despite a super slow start with 42 games left in the season so basically at the halfway point. Also he is rapidly improving so who knows what kinds of big performances he may still drop. I don’t think ROY should be priority though. It means nothing at the end of the day. Tyreke Evans won ROY over guys who developed into much better players like Steph Curry and James Harden. The primary focus should be on player development. Individual accolades will take care of themselves eventually. I just fear Sengun and Green aren’t having their potential maximized. Sengun’s minutes are maddening at times. I want to see more Sengun. Hopefully add another top 4 pick to this mix.
Yeah, I would also want to see the requirements. Sometimes they give it to the allround guys, sometimes to the point per game leaders. I wouldn't say it is not important. For Reke Evans it was his greatest achievement....lmao. Imagine if he had none. One hit wonder, he was great in that one season though.
Ummm Jalen Green First 17 games (2 bigs in lineup): 32 minutes...37.2 (FG%)...27.4 (3P%)...14.2 points Last 7 games (1 big in lineup): 29 minutes...45.1 (FG%)...44.7 (3P%)....19.3 points So with about 41 games remainIng (Jan, Feb, March and April) The voters will go by the first 17 games.....and not the final 46 games or so? Sure Clutchfans had a thread one season when Harden came out of the off-season like a house on fire. In November the question in the thread was asked, "Will Harden win the MVP?" I posted no, the media was giving Harden his moment to shine....but take it away before the season ends. I. believe Westbrook was given the MVP award that year Don't be surprised if they do the same with Scottie Barnes and Evan Mobley. Sengun First 17 games: 42.9 (3P%) Last 18 games: 16.7 (3P%) Mobley First 21 games: 33.3 (3P%) Last 10 games: 14.4 (3P%) Some rookies may be getting tired?....just saying. It's not how you look in the first 3 months of the season.....it's how you look in the final 4 months that the voters remember.
I thought we were talking about ROY, not 3pt shooting in rookie class. Could you please supply JGreen assist, block, rebound, +/- numbers. JGreen is a very good player but thinking current day Green is better than current day Wagner/Barnes/Giddey/Cunningham is a delusion. Hope you are right and I am basketball-ignorant.
