Ya. I don't think many realize that the brain, specifically the frontal lobe isn't fully developed until 25 on average.

    I do! I do!
That’s why I’ve always said he can mature and man-up!
People mature at different rates. If you look at Cade for example, he’s soooo damn serious, already a father, focused, etc. yet same age as Jalen… (too bad he doesn’t have 1/10th of Jalen’s burst, though…)

Cade should’ve been mature enough to pull out

It is possible but as I said the Rockets need a clear cut Number 1.

If it is Jalen, that is fine, he has to take all kind of shots, even bad shots.

If Jalen should be the Number 2, he has more freedom to score and move off ball.

But you have to get that Alpha.

Yeah fathering a kid at 17 in high school is peak maturity.

Honestly he can get there without taking any bad shots. Hes already averging around 20 a game in the last couple of games without taking many shots

If he can maintain anything close to the shooting splits he’s done recently he needs to be taking more shots.

Because there is no real goal like making the Playoffs is on the table right now.

If he has to lead a team to the promised land, that is something else.

    Pressure cooker would be on.

Rockets are preparing and grooming him to be that guy.

Bummer, 27 is when the brain starts to deteriorate.

I'm curious where the notion that Green has maturity issues stems from. Because he thinks he should have been number one? How many athletes have used that as motivation through the years? Too many to count. Other than just being a 19 year old there have been zero signs of him having any actual maturity issues.

It’s all about the nail polish bro. And @NewAge doesnt like it. “Get a haircut, get off Instagram, also quit smiling so much!”

He doesn't, just another narrative created from nothing.

Jalen Green is about as clean as it gets in terms of reputation. Chose to forgo college to focus on basketball (AKA no partying with college chicks, campus life etc), former team mates and coaches all talk about his drive and work ethic. No other scandals outside of basketball.

Oh btw he posts on instagram, he likes fashion, he has a hot girl friend, he is skinny, he didn't have a child in high school, he has different hair styles, that must mean he is very immature /sarcasm.

You're onto something but so are people that track every stat every day.

They feel Green gives their life more meaning.
