Not to be that guy, but for folks who believe this kind of stuff. How do they pull it off exactly. Do the magnets go to one rim or both? In a game, both teams play both rims. Each team switch between 1st and 2nd half. So wouldn't this theoretical disadvantage affect both teams? Is it just Harden who will have bad fg%, doesn't this mean KD, Patty, players are on the opposing team all have bad field goal % because, well.... same ball, same rims. If it's a thing where they rig it in certain arenas and not others? The people who setup the cameras, aren't those employees working for the arena (not the league). So how does the NBA have people do this... does the conspiracy go deeper, where it's an inside job? If the league don't like certain players, the tried and true way is just have the refs sway the game. It's much easier than magnet science. Very deep dark rabbit hole.
the nba changed the basketball this past offseason. According to karceno4life on his patreon he was told from a very reliable source that he has known for 20 yrs that the new ball has more pull and reject force than the basketball they were using since 2015. It’s why you are seeing star players shooting horrific percentages in games Karceno says always watch the lead ref( who has a black walkie/talkie like device on their back). Karceno said during timeouts the league office will tell the lead ref which team to turn the magnet on or off for.
