Lmao. Kid you will never know more about basketball concepts than me. Also, I said nothing about hitting a wall. In fact I was one of the first people in summer league saying conditioning would play a part in Sengun development.
Ok, so no spacing means he shoots worse from 3? Have you looked up his shooting splits for contested vs non contested? Assuming you haven’t because you wouldn’t be saying this dumb ****
I hope they both have excellent careers. It benefits the Rockets. Green should be the better scorer. He most likely won’t be the better all around player.
Wrong. Learn basketball. Next time come at me with stats, videos, articles....not just your undying love and tongue up Senguns ###.
Didn't Yao have issues early on with fouls? I think senguin is pressing too much to not get fouls and as a result is picking up more fouls. Conditioning will help him get to those spots faster too. Hopefully game slows down for him once he comes back.
I don't care if I'm banned. I was here when average Donatas Motiejunas was worshipped like a god and he had a million threads come out every 5 minutes. I see the same with Sengun. I like Sengun.......just jackalope who are infatuated with him make it impossible to enjoy watching him. Turns Clutchfans into a sucky soap opera of fainting stiffs. Time to go since I don't have much to say about Sengun. I'm only suppose to say he is cute, I guess. I leave that to his groupies.
No you aren’t a real fan. You’re a Green fanboy. It’s weird you like him so much and hate on Sengun. Real suspect
I do not think Green would want his fans to be obnoxiously infatuated with him either. So there is that. When can we welcome back the SenGod of Bosporus? I am just playing.
I understand the feeling but have you considered that your disdain for such threads and fans bias your view about the player because you start to evaluate only the negatives and take them out of proportion similar to Sengun only fan taking the positive out of proportion? a lot of the discussion I am trying to have in this thread becomes about Sengun only fans and how their views are biased rather than answering or discussing what I am saying.
Is it necessary to create space this way, though? The way I see it you only have to "create space" in that sense if you are a catch and shoot 3 point player. So you're right, if he's standing still at the 3 point line waiting for a pass then he's failing at creating space. But that's not how he should be used, and usually that's now how he's used. If he's coming out around the 3 point line and setting screens and DHOs for the ball handler, that isn't failing to create space. His defender is forced to come out, even if they don't respect Senguns shooting, in order to defend the action. It would obviously help if he was more of a roll/lob threat but he is still effective in that role as we've seen. And then the other option is to run the offense through him. Letting him create offense out of the high or low post, either posting people up and getting buckets or passing out of that position is also good offense. And this is also something they do frequently. So I think you're right that he doesn't create any space if he's standing still at the 3 point line, but I also don't think that's necessarily a problem when he's used properly.
this actually creates space for Sengun to drive to the basket if he does not do the handoff or a chance to isolate after the handoff. It also creates for the other players to cut. There are a lot of plays they can play here. No problem of spacing for sure. And when Wood for example creates spacing, he literally gets off the paint and demands the ball for a one on one play that usually ends with a low percentage play. Not all spacings are created equal.
lol what a sengun hater...he gotta be silas mother or some of her cousins i guess this is also how silas come to be so low on sengun... it gotta be some personal stuff cause sengun is a generational talent and an old school basketball savant........ how do you watch sengun play and end up playing him only 5 minutes a game? phahahahahhahah DUMB DUMB DUMB.... SPECIAL KIND OF DUMB dmo was also an extraordinary player, team player, post play, passing, defense, ballhandling, 7 footer...he had it all he also didnt get a fair chance and treatment in houston even in his best days he was isoed and dwight postups and ariza bricking 3s over hands of defenders was a proffered play over dmo postup which was money...DUMBALITCS i also remember ariza hated to pass to dmo because he might get the ball back lololololl if we had dmo vs gsw i bet you any money we dont go 0-27 same thing is happening with sengun its just that there is no dominant player like harden so its harder to iso him.....but i bet you any money black people aint letting white boy be the dominant force even if it means the team and results suffer as a result.... sengun would be easy ROY if stone and silas would just give him the minutes they dont even have to pass him the ball....
imagine what kind of people watch sengun and find he is creating a spacing problem?phahahahha lol he needs to be doubled everywhere on the court or the defense has a huge problem.... the dumbalitics is so dumb.... you dont even need to be a 3pt shooter to create spacing
I actually think it would be better for him to develop a shot from close range first. And keep shooting the 3 whenever it is the right thing to do so regardless of percentage.
Well @ApacheWarrior you must have like some billion dollar tech hidden in your basement because to predict 3 years in advance to sign up on a Rockets message board knowing thru will eventually select your favorite player is quite astonishing and physics defying.
I actually jumped into this thread with the first post being about how shitty of a shooter Green is. There is definitely a lot more positivity towards Sengun on this bbs than Green. Like you would actually have to be a Sengun only fan to believe this message board isn't receiving him well compared to our other rookies.
