So Phil Jackson isn't a good coach since he didn't cut Pippen or Rodman right? Rodman literally went AWOL on the team. Silas's job this season was not to win games (in fact it might be to lose games), it's to develop players. And against that metric, it does appear that players are developing across the board. Everyone seems to have improved from the start of the season with the exception of Garuba. I'm pleased with how Christopher, Sengun, Green, Martin, and the players seem to be performing. They hustle, the play scrappy, and they are playing with energy. Even KP3 seems to have grown despite his recent outburst. And Mathews is a fine find as well. The offense looks a lot better and so does the defense even though it has a long ways to go. I wonder if Silas makes some of the changes in the rotations to not win games because they are puzzling I admit, but I don't think he's the idiot he's made out to be on this board. Let's not forget here that he is the one who punished CWood initially for missing the Covid Test, as well as deciding to cut House. People were so upset he played house over martin at the beginning of the year, but then they let him go - perhaps they were trying to give him a chance or see if they could get value for him in a trade. I'm curious to see how Silas does when winning is more of a priority.
I wish that was the only reason Silas should be fired. Personally, don't care what Sengun thinks, he needs to play more. Why is JG playing so much otherwise in comparison? If this is Silas' reason for not playing he just shows how incompetent he truly is. Silas sucks as a coach and should be fired and Sengun needs to man up and play more minutes.

nothing to do with conditioning he played him only 5 minutes in one game because thesis was 'playing good' he also played him like 10 mins average at one point then suddenly started playing him 10 minutes more in a matter of just a week....so his conditioning doubled in such a short period? yeah right....

30 games in sengun said his body is ready now. So what happen the first 30 games? It was silas accommodating to his rookie that he wasnt ready hence the mins were inconsistent but they were slowly increased. We have posters on here btching for him to go 30+ mins the first 5 games when the rookie himself said he wasn't ready yet. He is now coming back from an injury should we give him max mins risk more Injuries or should we ease him in once more? doubling and tripling his playing time from game to game suddenly is not easing him up... he played him 5 minutes one night because thesis 'played good' then suddenly played him 25 minutes in a few days...its not easing him up its a tanking bs and/or racial bias ie keeping JG roy chances alive he sat him vs bucks when alpi was hot and threatened to continue the winning streak vs champs....and threatened to become ROY FROM THE BENCH... silas is protecting JGs interests
