I am with you with everything except the traitor part.....

She took in oath to defend "the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic"... I took the same oath, for me to see her or any other veteran doing what they did on Jan 6th is being a traitor to your Country and your Oath...

I respect that and actually agree with it. I'm not sure I think the Jan 6 events rose to the level of "traitor," that's all. I think a lot of people made very misguided decisions that day.

I believe there was more than one death.. I think it was 4 or 5 people.. but she's right the editorial did exaggerate as they always do...

She's also correct in saying the Dems want to keep this on everyone's mind until election time.... But if the Repubs want this to go away than Except and Own the wrong doing...

They should say something to the effect of "What happened on Jan 6th was wrong and unacceptable and yes the Former President did say somethings to entice the crowds emotions... But we are here today to make sure this never happens again."

I mean come on we ALL know Trump is not going to go to Jail... People can wish, dream and hope all they want.. He's not going to jail...

that really is ironic

 

i see many saying we need to move on and that dems are just making an issue of january 6th for partisan purposes, but look at this statement from the former president. and 1/3rd of the country believes this garbage. this is exactly why we cant move on - we have an entire political party that believes that the election was stolen and that the january 6th insurrection wasnt a big deal...some even argue that it was democrats and leftists that did it.

we have people that want to make martyrs out of people like ashli babbit and we have people that want to defend and make excuses for those who participated in the insurrection. i actually see many on here spending way more time defending the insurrectionists than i do condemning them.

we have states across the country installing partisan hacks as election officials and overseers, allowing partisan hacks to "monitor" elections and in the case of texas and other states that trump won, actually conducting investigations on voter fraud. the irony is that we have actually seen way more cases of trumpers committing voter fraud than non-trumpers have. and trump actually called to commit voter fraud by voting twice in one state and he also is on tape pressuring the georgia secretary of state to commit voter fraud by "finding" 11,000 or so votes.

we can not move on from january 6th because trump and his cult wont let us. they wont acknowledge the truth of what happened and seem hell-bent on setting the tables to do it again.

 

I can see how you thought he was talking about Biden since you are a part of the brainwashed Trump Cult. Cult logic. Trump won Biden bad.
