I dunno, that's what other car manufacturers are doing. You can compete without having to match driving range or charging infrastructure. Same reason why other phones can compete without best on screen time or best camera photos.

It's fine to celebrate TSLA's stock price, but there's a stock market thread for that. I don't know what that has anything to do with the EV market in general or making them more appealing.

I'm still waiting for a nicer and more traditional car interior than Tesla's design, and for battery range to increase across the board while spending less than 100k. I couldn't care less about FSD.

I would say FSD is what makes Tesla valuable. Stating FSD has no value clearly shows absolutely 0 vision.

x = hours a day spent behind a wheel, total in a given day
y= value placed, per hour, on the average person behind the wheel

    taxis and uber = obsolete
    food delivery = obsolete
supply chain on-road logicstics = obsolete

    This is all before innovation.

When did I ever mention stock price on here??

Also why are we still calling them $100k cars when 96% of Teslas delivered this quarter was 3/Y which start at $46k?

As for competing and who the "android" of EV is, that's what the graphs were for, to show the state of the competition.

Doesn't fit, genius. You don't know my garage dimensions better than I do, despite your self-assessed god-level intelligence.

What good does it do you or Tesla to constantly act like an asshat in this thread? (That's rhetorical.)

And bye. Very happy with my non-Tesla EV that squeezes into my garage, and also happy for people (other than you) who love their Teslas.

The model 3 is the size of a standard sedan that fits in any standard parking space. If your personal situation requires you to buy a mini or whatever, isn't that self explanatory or did you really need me to clarify that. What exactly was your point, Teslas are not oversized.

"What good does it do you"

I was assured by a certain individual earlier in this thread that Tesla would succumb to the crushing weight of competition, we argued, I presented some facts, he presented some FUD, so it goes. What good does it do me is that I like to revisit my statements in the past as more facts unfold, and point out how foolish that individual was, it makes me feel good about myself. :p

I actually like driving, hence FSD doesn't do anything for me. I would actively hate a car with no steering wheel, although I recognize that may be a future I'm still alive in.

The state of competition from sales graphs is informing me what the current market state is when I'm only interested in the future market. Hence the interest in new cars, new tech, new possibilities. Sell me something new Tesla is doing, besides adding more batteries to their existing car that's been out since 2013.

Very bold of you to assume what a stranger on the internet can afford. Sit down.

Porsches have been selling for decades and not because of 0-60 numbers or horsepower...it's because people like different things...and cars are more than "performance" numbers to some people who enjoy driving.

A comment I read recently explains it well:
    And yes....I am one of those Porsche fans. I am on my 3rd one....had a mid-engine, a rear-engine and now an 80s manual air-cooled..

You can enjoy your FSD and zooming from red light to red light...
I will enjoy shifting till my hands fall off.

Dude Ford delivered almost double the amount of vehicles in the same quarter yet you think Tesla is driving them out of business.

I don't even know what you think you are proving anymore.

Nobody has said they will be crushed by competion but you keep telling us how Tesla is gonna crush all the american car companies.

Really dude what is your point?

Please show one person who has said that tesla is gonna get crushed.

Like I said, or you are one of those "never-tesla" people, doesn't matter what they make, so there's no point is discussing or debating. People who don't want to objectively compare, and just stick to a brand, to me that's foolish, so stupid or blind like I said. Most people are not like this though.

FYI the Porsche Taycan you would rather have does not have a stick shift so you won't be shifting until your hands fall off. It just has the Porsche logo. At least it's not a Tesla though, that's what's important!

You, dude, you are the one person. Do you need me to bump all your posts and FUD?

Also here is a chart of how all the manufacturers did in 2021. Tell me who is eating who's lunch.

Yes they are all items for a EV but that's currently and what the other carmakers are betting on is people will start buying cars like they have traditionally done and looks and price will be at the top of the list.

Just because you don't like what Toyota Volvo and the Mach E does not mean much because different people have different taste and I think the Mach looks better than 80% of what Tesla has as their interiors are a no go for me to ever buy one and most car reviewers are starting to really go in on them for that, the minimalist thing is gonna have to be addressed at some point.

The Best EVs Coming in 2022

    Audi A6 E-Tron

Emulating how BMW took an early lead (perhaps too early) with its “i” brand of electric cars, Audi has labored to establish its e-tron range as quality alternatives to traditional internal-combustion engine (ICE) autos. After the incredibly impressive e-tron GT will come the A6 e-tron.

Wow, I’m flattered you were thinking about me.

Don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back. I still have until 2031 for my prediction to come through. We will see if Germany, Japan, and S Korea cede their domestic auto industries to Tesla in the long run. We will also see if Tesla becomes the biggest auto company in the world in ten years like you predicted.

You fan boys seem to live a fulfilling life on the internet.

    What car actually does this?

The EV market is still emerging yet you think it is fully formed.

So you want to explain why Ford still sold double the number of vehicles that Tesla did yet you claimed they and the other big 3 were doomed.

Like I said WTF is your point what I posted above the EV market is still emerging as yes please bump all of my post because I stand by everyone of them and everything I said is happening.

You want to show one post were anybody said TESLA was gonna be crushed or are you gonna admit that you are just creating making **** up.

Obviously big auto when you look at total deliveries. Real easy to make it look impressive when you are coming off such lower numbers.

Instead of just taking a victory lap over the Tesla delivery numbers you had stumble at the finish line.
