Period!!! Smiling during that embarrassing pre-game press conference where Mr. Tough Guy announced that the players “had accepted” his scathing one game suspension for crossing his unacceptable line of quitting on the team. What a pathetic coach. Mathews was having a career game and he hardly played when needed in the second half. Once again outcoached at halftime and if you haven’t noticed, it’s confusing to tell who really is coaching the team during the game as it appears Lucas has more energy and enthusiasm jumping off his seat and yelling to motivate the team. Nice wasted “Silas Callenge” a few minutes into the game on an obvious Gordon foul. Lastly, for the fifth game in a row he walks over to the opposjng coach after a humiliating defeat and is laughing and jawing away in joy as he shows no discernible anger/frustration at having gotten his butt kicked. No competitive edge/drive whatsoever and that relays right on out to his team. Great halftime adjustment telling Theis and Tate to bomb away tume and again at three pointers. 26-93 and Silas keeps smiling away. Maybe we can get lucky and snatch Popeye Jones away from the Nuggets as he is fresh off of abusing Silas’ Rockets (or at least the guys who remained to finish the second half of the game). Just some wishful thinking…..
So… you’re not a fan of Coach? Seriously, it is amazing that Lucas is not already interim HC. That little win streak is the only reason Silas is still employed.
Former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson cut a player for smiling and fraternizing with an opponent on the field after a loss. He also cut a player for falling asleep at a film session. Boy times have sure changed….our coach doesn’t have the intensity needed to be successful and has players quitting on him and he responds with a literal slap on the wrist. KPJ wasn’t even going to play in Monday’s game due to his thigh injury, sk he got a nice day off of work for throwing things at a coach and driving away from the team at halftime….real nice job of discipline from Silas!
