Wow. Lmao. I’m not going to be able to not think that now every time I see JG standing in the corner 5 possessions in a row and not touching the ball. He’s PJ Tucker in our offense half the time he’s out there or more. Then they’ll be like oh yeah let’s get a play in for him and run him off a screen or pin down. It’s crazy. How he’s still managing to improve despite the lack of confidence the coaching staff shows in him is astounding. Most young top players like him are given the keys and you live through the bad shooting games and the turnovers. We’re losing anyways, speed up his development and put the ball in his hands.
Why is it always the guy u don’t want shooting who has the most confidence in his shot? Theis doesn’t realize he’s open for a reason Sixers coaches high-fiving each other every time this dude pulled up for the brick three Such abuse towards the rim. Theis, why? I think I saw the rim leave the arena with an ice pack and a head lump
That's the real kicker there. I know I'm not unique in this viewpoint but I have absolutely zero faith in Silas. I know fans will always complain about rotations and stuff like that but his are truly some of the most baffling I have seen. It's really borderline negligence
Everybody taking a dump on Silas because he didn’t play Jalen in the 4th, actually it’s a good move if you think about. Let the rookie know he isn’t entitled to minutes and needs to get better at the defensive side. Earn those minutes rook.
We had an actor called Danyal with a fantastic surname anyal Topatan (Danyal Ballthrower) He passed away last century and resurrected in Houston. Some experts can embed his pic here (please)
Love Jalen but he was awful tonight... 0 assists as a ball handling guard & terrible shooting to go along w/ his usual weak defense. Not just blaming him, cuz this whole team is a ****ing disaster, these mfers give up 130 points every night like clockwork.
Not all. Because Silas is idiot at developing young rookies. He can’t teach anything to them. How the hell you play Jalen Green who has great scoring potential at the corner? We have a bunch of ball hoggers, they don’t pass at all!
JG struggled tonight for sure, but he certainly passed the ball. I can think of at least 5 times he passed to Theis alone and no surprise Theis missed every single one lol Calling him a ball handing guard is almost a stretch as well. He stands in the corner in our offense by design far too often.
lol posters that say they love ___, honestly are just folks who say that faux sht so they can unleash what they really feel about that said person.
What a great take, let's bench the rookie who can shoot for the theis who shot 3s like he was steph curry.
The biggest problem in Houston is lack of assists - followed by rebounding. That was the reason I praised Tate's assists and K Martin's rebounds at half. Offence genius coach start to teach how to pass-josh Christopher first.
Daniel Theis' career high in 3PA in a game was 6 before becoming a Rocket. Now he's out there with delusions that he's Detlef, not Daniel. Needs to pull his head in
If Silas want Green to play off ball, he has to make sure his scrubs pass the ball to Green. But obviously Silas didn’t do that. Theis shoot every time he gets the ball, Sials said nothing!
He definitely deserves some blame for the lack of playmaking/ball handling, it's not as if he doesn't get the ball, and he chooses to stand around at times, I've seen Tate control the offense & set plays more & he's not our primary ball handler... Silas does use Green ineffectively but Green definitely deserves some criticism for not taking charge of the offense more himself.
We can expect next season we still play in a mess. We make no progress game by game. We play at will and not coached.
