You are right. They pushed KPJ out of position. He would be much better as a 3.

I wonder if the Cavs have looked back after getting rid of this clown.

Seems like they'd make the same move 100 times out of 100.

Who would've thought the day would come where the Cavs organisation was run better than the Rockets.

I ask you again, do you genuinely think the Rockets didn't have a plan when they got him?

They knew this guy had mental issues. They knew he threw soup at the couch because his locker was moved. They KNEW this kid was literally a time bomb waiting to explode.

I really don't have anything positive to say about this Tilman-run organisation at the moment. But even I have to believe they had a plan in place to bring this nutcase in.

Some people are too scared to criticise him, because they're scared they'll be labelled insensitive to his mental issues.

Wish there were more people (especially in the organisation) that called a spade a spade.

I'd ignore DD's comment about "leaders." He straight up said "leaders don't defer" with regards to Lucas, seemingly missing that ALL good leaders DELEGATE (which anybody who's ever been a manager, supervisor or any other position of authority knows) so I'd take it with a pinch of salt ;) .

KPJ threw soup at his last head coach, because his locker was moved.

What does his locker position have to do with caring?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

KPJ really shouldn't be fooling anyone anymore.

I can count on zero fingers the reports i've read from the Kings organisation. The Knicks. The Pistons. The Magic. The Timberwolves. Of players so sick of losing because they care so much, that they were forced to throw things at their head coach. NOT ONCE. BUT TWICE.

Only person qualified to get rid of people without batting an eye resides on Kirby as VP of Operations... Wood and KPJ would be gone for a year's supply of church fans

I'm inclined to agree except that this is actually strike 3, 4 or 5. When there's a pattern, the approach changes and you have to take into account what has worked in the past (nothing?). We'll see if the coaching staff can really work magic here.

The good news for the franchise, is history tells us there's not many players rolling around with a history of throwing things at their coaches.

So chances are we'll never see another idiot like KPJ again in our lifetimes.

How does that prove anything. Cavs spent a first round pick on KPJ and then cut their losses.

The Rockets spent a protected second round pick that has almost no chance of converting to try to rehab KPJ. If we released him today we would lose a absolutely nothing

For all yall defending this KPJ has mental illness crap , would yall say that if he weren't playing for Rox ? If he weren't an athlete? I'll answer .... Hell no .. Yall would want him to either get gone or take time away from bball to get himself together.. Cleveland had enough! I'm sure they went over and beyond as well to "reel him in"... Every professional team has a John Lucas that's on its staff... Cleveland had Damon Jones .. He threw a fit... We have the Don of 2nd chances ( Lucas).. He threw a fit.. Dude has talent but clearly has a problem with authority... And worse he has a problem with being held accountable by his peers... So folks walk on eggshells and he still nukes them... Bye homie!

We all know KPJ and Wood are not our future.

So just stop wasting time and resources.

Get rid of them and build around Green and Sengun!

DD once assistant coached an 8 year old C team for the fun fair positive no dribbling required basketball league so give him his props for handling basketball divas. DD never once tried to undermine the 13 year old head coach even if he was 30 years older than him.

This organization needs to be more disciplined. Antonio Brown was dropped from the Bucs team today. The Coach asked him to go back in the game twice and he said, NO! Then we left the bench and went home before the game was over. Now, the Coach told him he is off the team. This is called Respect. Houston on the other hand when Porter left at halftime this organization lied and said we would not be back because of a thigh injury? Porter needs to stop trying to play Point Guard because he is just a SF. Wood? You definitely trade him next month for a young talent and a draft pick. You trade Gordon for young talent and let play Wall at Point. At least Green would know how to play with a Legit Point Guard in the NBA….I never said he(Wall) was a great Point Guard.

Guess what, Cleveland actually helped him find a new home here, at least did not put obstacles in front of him.

I have a feeling they aren't sure how to proceed internally to both save face for the team, and not punish KPJ hard enough to completely break him.

There must have been some sunken cost thoughts here, we did invest a lot babying KPJ him since last year, probably gave him all the support he needed it in every way possible.
