Last I checked Brown was a legitimate Pro Bowl player 7 times.

Get this dude and his 6-10 pet daddy long legs off this ****ing team.

What we do know is that John Lucas had a cocaine problem in the 80s.

I don't really care what happens to Porter as long as he doesn't impede the others. My gut says to cut him.

He's not a good enough player to deal with the baggage. He's had his chances. It's a hard way to learn, but the team has bent over backwards for you.

As a fan, I've kept my distance from him, in a fandom sense. He wasn't good enough for me to believe he was a centerpiece of the team, and he's enough of a head case to where I figured it was inevitable that this would happen.

Hell, my moniker is named after Eddie Griffin, from before he died.

it’s true that we won’t get anything of value back for him in a trade because he has zero value…I’d fully support it if they just cut him

they’ll likely suspend, and IMO, it should be for at least 5 games due to the outburst, throwing something in the locker room, and leaving the arena at halftime without permission…and then make it clear to him that this is his last chance…he messes up again, start learning Chinese or hope someone takes a chance when half their team is out with Covid and they need bodies

Whether they're b****ing to each other or not, it certainly won't be helping KPJ's attitude seeing Wood act like a petulant child when things don't go his way. I suppose the worry is that Wood (who evidently hasn't gotten over his own character issues) rubbing off on KPJ is exacerbating the issue, which is highly likely. With Wall out, Wood is our de-facto top guy, in most sports the youngsters look up to the people in that position. I'm far more inclined to give a 21 yr old kid with a troubled past one last shot at turning his **** around than I am a 26 yr old journeyman who can't realise that this was his big shot to finally find a place in the league after being bounced around (which for a player with his talent level is telling in and of itself, sadly I was blinded by the numbers like many others so I didn't see that.)

he got benched because he lost his sh*t in the locker room at halftime…he was the reason for his benching…then he said “fck u, I’m outta here” and left

KPJr threw objects, had to be restrained from staff, was told he was no longer gonna play because of that, and then decided to just leave the arena, but somehow Wood refusing to check into the game is the real cancerous behavior. Lucas literally has to check what attitude KPJr has brought with him today before trying to coach him. Do y’all hear yourselves with these KPJr defense posts?

Man KPJ has talent and i was on his side and seem he was putting things together after sitting out for injury and he started looking better at PG but KPJ has to be gone.. how can you have the PG of your team the leader just leave in the middle of the game, at this point rockets need a new PG I can't defend KPJ anymore.

Oh don't get me wrong, I 100% think he needs to face a real and tangible punishment. Suspension and definitely being demoted. He can't be allowed to get into the Diva mindset at all, tough love or no love is the way to go. It's sad because I really do think he has bags of potential. I was a bit of a mental 21 year old myself so I guess there's a little empathy there too, but I would give him that last chance; it wouldn't be in a cushy position as a starter though. He needs that "get your **** together or **** off" talk, time to grow up young man, your career depends on it.

I am at fault for believing all young players have a chance at redemption.

I never thought green was a bust and lo and behold he is doing well bc u saw his determination to improve. And he needed time.

Kpj right now has no coach, no vets to guide him. What he did was unprofessional and its understandable if he gets traded. I just dont like that we took in a headcase when we r in no fking position to properly support him.

We have no coach or one that doesn't have the balls to coach, vets that are sitting out (wall) or ones that are acting like a diva (wood).

He may not warrant more chances due to his lack of abilities. Idk just rubs me the wrong way that we r grouping him like wood, a grown ass man who legitimately does not care for the team. Kpj seems to care about the game, but that's my take.

Also r we even utilizing kpj correctly?

Whoa whoa I will not suffer this positive Westbrook slander.

That's the definition of a pass-a-lot or rather dominate-the-ball PG.

What's Westbrooks assist-to-turnover ratio and eFG% compared to other PGs across his career? (Hint, it's bad.)

He is the chucker's chucker. He is the anti no-stats-allstar. He is the like an empty calorie energy drink at the human limits of caffiene consumption. Chris Paul is the protein shake. John Wall is like a soda being sold at an airport for an extortionist price.

I'm always for giving guys a chance, you never know in what situation they are, but you continue to do the same stuff over and over, its time for a clean cut.

The sad part about this is that he's career is likely over or will end up somewhere in Russia, Porto Rico or some third world country

You should not feel bad about that.

Tons of difficult players in this league, you cannot save them all, give them all chances.

If he wants it badly enough, he will mature, but do not hold your breath when that will be.

Lol I am not a Saint. I just hold out on the chance that reviving young players career on the Rockets just strengthen us in the long run. Clearly as we are right now we can't save anyone.

the “Green is a bust” talk was always insanely stupid…if we were just talking about KPJr’s on-court play like with Green that would be 1 thing, but this guy has messed up off the court time and time again

maybe he got too comfortable here with the starting spot and 30 mpg no matter how awful he was playing and forgot that he had been traded for a top 55 protected pick and his career was in jeopardy

Wood is just selfish and a moron, but he has never pulled some sh*t like KPJr has done multiple times.

KPJr is not a PG, so we are not using him correctly. How do use someone who needs the ball, but can’t shoot and has terrible efficiency? Do we know how he’d handle coming off the bench and not being the PG? Will he see it as a demotion and pout/shut down? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did

Demote him and we go from there. I say why not. I honestly want to see if he can overcome this. This is clearly not the best environment but if he grows into a better player I say it's worth the chance. Comparing kpj to wood, do u think their desire to play/improve at the game the same?

I'm just banking he learns from this and improves as a player. We don't lose much keeping him on since it's not chemistry that's the problem but maturity.

Would it be possible to keep KPJ on the team, but ask him to suit up in a different locker room? We could simply relocate his locker to an auxiliary area.

    PROBLEM SOLVED

    Cut KPJ.
Trade Wood+Gordon+Bucks pick fpr Myles Turner and Jeremy Lamb.

    Turner/Theis
    Sengun/Tate or Garuba
    Matthews/Nwaba
    Christopher/Brooks
    Green/Augustin

I’m so done with people who can’t act right. It’s time for a zero tolerance policy.
